Murphy is a slim guy so Scarecrow needs a Slim body.

To represent that specific scene with Batman demon i find it weird that they didn't include a Murphy head.

I have the confidential demon bat pics, they copied it pretty close, However I think the teeth are sharper , But still a excellent piece for sure.

I can't hide the fact that I'm really, really disappointed now. The sculpt of both figures is absolutely breath-taking, yes. But with just a display stand and some friggin' hands, HT is charging too much for what's effectively $175 for each figure! This set is waaay overpriced, and I can't see in what aspect they can justify the cost.

The completist in me is still winning me over, but the practical side of me is saying that the set is not worth it at that price.

Oh God I want that Scarecrow figure so much it hurts! Sadly because he comes with Demon Bats (which is also great) means a hefty price tag and being an exclusive means almost imedeate jacked up prices on ebay so I'll probably never get him :monkey2

I have a strong feeling that the lack of the Cillian Murphy h/s will be to do with licensing costs. Just the use of the 'character' is prob a lot cheaper than the 'character and actor'.

But don't actors give away their likeness in licenses for recent movies for merchandises and stuff for the franchise? Or do the licensees still need to ask individual actors/actresses for that?

Often yes, but they will be rewarded contractually for the right to do so, and so when the licensor then sells the rights to use the character and or actors likeness, there will most likely be a sliding scale of 'value' on how and where it's used.
It's why some companies get a great deal if they are doing a huge press campaign for an endorsed product, if it is raising the profile of the source material it is seen as viral marketing for the movie itself. The more desirable the 'lifestyle' product, the better the deal for all concerned.
Sadly 1/6th scale figure collecting is still very much a specialised and niche market... upshot, no Cillian h/s.

Pity that they didn't adjust the price accordingly if they really wanted to save on licensing costs. I really like the Scarecrow but just too expensive and have no interest in Demon bats.

Is nobody else seeing Demon Bat's cross-eyes? Is it just 'cause it's late and past my bedtime, or because I missed him in this scene looking like he's just been punched in the face? Don't want to sound like I'm hopping on the hate-wagon, but to me he looks ridiculous. Anyone who doesn't think so set please me straight, cause I can't believe they'd make him cross-eyed.
