I just received both , but haven’t finished putting on any of the antennas on the sulaco ship. Will post more after I’ve added them on. Not to happy with the paint scheme on the nostromo. if I keep it I will have to add some color variations with some darker shading and weathered painting. A little monochromatic ....... looks a little like a large grey model that needs to be painted still. Both are very solid heavy pieces though.

Didn't see that coming. Lol! They didn't even paint the windows in the front. Guess it could have been worse. Just look at their derilict. If these ever go on sale I might pick one up.

Is it just a solid mold cast?
Or can the "bridge" navigation-window element be pried off?
To at least maybe install in it's place, a miniature with clear windows, some minimal interior detail and light?

I was just noticing the same thing. I kept looking back and forth between the two.

It definitely deserved at least blue-tinged windows on the bridge sections. But if so, then the "Christmas tree lighting" and antennae tips lighting would be required, as well.

Did anyone receive their Nostromo in an art box? Mine was packed in styrofoam strait in the shipper box.
It was also missing some details on the nose/cockpit. Seems like it was painted that way.

If HCG can compensate me for the damage I will sculpt a new part myself, and ad a few other details in the process. Otherwice I have to ask for a replacement.

That aside, I think the sculpt of the Nostromo is quite good. On the right engine nacelle there are some rough areas that look 3d-printed and not sanded down. Also the paint look heavy handed.

For someone who dreams of painting up a large scale model of the Nostromo, like me, this is a dream project. But for someone who expect a prepainted ship ready for display might be disappointed.
