Just got confirmation emails a few hours ago saying that the X-Plus Daikaiju Kong and the Godzilla The Ride figures are ready to ship.

This is my first time importing X-Plus figures and I have to say I’m pretty stoked. I saved a ton of money doing it this way instead going through a US based store.

Just curious, but what stores are you referring to? I got Kong for $158 total and Godzilla The Ride for $252 total. I wasn’t even aware there were any US stores that sold them lower than that.

AmiAmi is doing it with premium surface shipping for that price. It’s slow shipping, like ~3 months, but it’s guaranteed protection and insurance too. I figured it couldn’t be beat.

Even if you use EMS, it ends up being $277

Yikes. I’m home most of the time so I would know if and when a package arrives. Was the package in good condition?

Cool. I know BBTS has their shipping baked into their price so that 4 dollar shipping sounds like a heck of a deal. One thing I forgot about is the stupid tax that they are now charging on top of that.

That’s looks very similar to the SH Monsterarts Kong except for it’s bigger and probably will cost less.

Mechagodzilla should've really been painted instead of bare plastic. I don't know why I'm not loving these or the cards as much as I thought I would.
