I would love to own the set, but short of winning the lottery, I will never have the budget for things like that. I often wonder, how many people who have that kind of money also have interest in "toys" like that.

New X-Plus Sakai '91, looks amazing, RIC light up version, coming in November.

I love everything about this except for the torso leaning to the left. While i know Godzilla was like that in the movie sometimes, i would have liked his torso to be more straight similar to previous Sakai sculpts. Otherwise, this thing is perfect.

Well these Sakai pieces seem to be based on very specific moments, even identifying them in the name. This one is based on Ghidorah's arrival to their first confrontation.

Thinking the same thing . That has to Atleast cost maybe 10,000 all together

With all the buildings and working rotors on the choppers and lights and faces for Kong and lights in Godzilla, gotta imagine the statues are around $2K each, and the bust are about $5K total, so yeah, that table is about $10K worth of products, and I want them all.

It is time to prepare, but at the same time, my collecting budget is about $600 a year, so I'd have to pass on all other collectibles for years, and I'm not sure there's ever been a grail for me to do that.

I'm not saying the price is unreasonable or anything negative towards people buying it, I just find it mind blowing that a company like Prime 1 with so many items running over $1000 each can continue to grow and thrive and sell things in the numbers needed to turn a profit. It's clear that there is a world of collectors out there who aren't necessarily all over social media or forums showing off what they have but indulging in this market, and as a collector I'm fascinated and would be curious to learn about that side. Most of what I see is folks on sites like this who are up in arms over HT prices nearing $300.

I would say in a lot of cases they're doing a better job than I've seen before. There's been a lot of highly anticipated Sideshow stuff that has turned out to be not so great due to a bad choice of pose or quality issues so it can be worth getting some of the expensive Prime1 pieces seeing that they do a very good job, especially if it's something you're really into. For the most part I haven't been into their products due to the price and size, but there's stuff like the recent Godzilla pieces which are really tough to pass on though I don't know that I could afford them by the time they ship.

I'd love to see them strike a balance, they're branching out with Jurassic Park and offering a smaller, simpler line at around $100 per piece of dinosaurs roughly the size of a sixth scale human, but still to their quality, would love that for Godzilla. I agree that Prime 1 seems consistently good from design to production quality. For size and cost, I'd love to see them succeed with the smaller, more affordable stuff and offer both. To date, every time I see their name associated to something that may interest me, I get excited to look, but instantly deflated knowing it'll be way beyond what I can swing.

Omega Beast has released prototype images of their giant Godzilla 2021.
It has changeable arms and some type of breath effect. I'm sure this won't
be cheap. Last pic is it compared to the Gigantic X-Plus.

Looks to be that way. About $5800 for the set of statues. $3200 for both busts. So the full set, not including P1's insane shipping or other fees, is roughly $9000. After the shipping and fees, well over $10k.

All I really want at this point is a Gigantic Kiryu. I have their enormous Biollante and am waiting on Behemoth from KOTM.

A company called Monster Rage is doing a Gigantic in kit version. They usually offer painted versions as well.
