EXO-6 Star Trek Mods

I thought I’d start a thread for my EXO Trek mods, as it appears I’ll be doing several. The tricky part is trying to get them to look more natural and resemble the body type of the character AND make their height as accurate as possible in relation to other characters. I’m loving the EXO-6 Trek line. They bring me back to when I first become fan when I was a kid. The figure customizer/perfectionist in me just can’t leave well enough alone, though!

Mr. Spock (Mirror Universe)
Adding some more natural definitions, posture and proportions while shortening him down just a little bit.
Widened the hole in the chest socket to accommodate the VTS chest rig. I want to use Exo-6 legs as the ankle sockets/joints are a tad larger than most 1/6 figures and I like to keep the modded bodies as solid as possible. I used a Tuvok body for the slightly shorter waist. it looks drastic, but brings the height down less than a centimeter.
Spock’s arms will fit perfectly in the VTS rig. Replaced neck peg with a short one. Sewed the back of the scarf into the back of the body sleeve to keep it from riding up.
Added cut padding, smoothed out by the body sleeve. The goal is to try and keep the body thin, but fill it out enough to look natural in the shirt. Stock Spock looked a a little “tubular” to me. And…I just can’t help but mess with things.

Sulu (Mirror Universe)
Mirror Mirror Sulu is near perfect just the way it is…but like most of you, I’m nuts. It’s the subtleties in body language and appearance I‘m always trying to tweak.
My stubbornness to keep the Exo-6 legs, because of the slightly larger ankle peg, might have been misplaced. Full body swaps should be easier if the ankle peg issue can be easily solved. And…I really wanted to shorten Sulu just a tad more. I also post my Kirk as he needed to be shortened just a bit, but I don’t him and sulu to be the same height. This is good practice for when the TOS line starts to show up.
VTS legs (with shorter shin and short ankle peg) with shrink tubing around the pegs. Fits Exo’s boots, nice and snug.
VTS waist, chest rig and overlay with cut neck and modified Exo neck plug.
Exo Sulu arms.
He’s got a bit more swagger.

Admiral Kirk (ST The Motion Picture)
I thought Kirk needed to come down a bit in height, but he still needed to be taller than Sulu. Shatner had a very unique build and posture that’s hard to replicate. The EXO-6 padding does a pretty good job, pulling off Kirk’s physique, but for the mod, I had to replace it.
-Asmus standard size LOTR body.
I thought the arms had a taper that was close to Shatner’s.
-Rubber neck and inner neck joints removed. Exo-6 neck peg, modified to fit.
-HT Tusken Raider padding, cut.
-Medium foots pegs, heat shrink tubing added to fit EXO boots.
-Inner neck plug cut of at socket and hole drilled in plug. In retrospect, I should have modified this part like I did for Sulu, but I had some this mod first. I’ll replace it at some point.

Spock (ST The Motion Picture)
Brought in Spock’s shoulders. The way that robe fit him in the movie really thinned his frame out even more. I’ll probably bring his height down just a bit (like mirror universe Spock) and he’ll be perfect next to Kirk).
-Fit shorter neck peg into Exo body.
-Medicom arms fit with older HT inner shoulder joints.
-Inner, hard shoulder padding cut from robes.
