The captive bolt pistol looks very good. The shotgun very simple. The clothing is ok, standard material. I like the headsculpt but this really depends on each person preference.

Got the Star Toys Anton today.

Overall it's not bad. I found him really difficult to photograph for some reason. Tried with flash and with an LED lamp.

The two sculpts are painted quite differently. The serious one is more tanned and has a satin or sweaty finish:

The smiling one is paler and has a more matt finish:

The jacket is a bit tight, which makes it hard to futz.

His ankle pegs resemble wrist pegs, so rather than the usual ball joint that plugs into the boots it's a little peg. The hole in the boots is at an odd angle, which makes it even harder to connect the two parts.

The body joints are very stiff, as noted in The 3rd Party Reviews video.

While he comes with a black oval base, the old style without the name plate, I used an old BBI waist grabber to help achieve a more natural pose.

Not sure which sculpt I prefer. At the moment I've gone with the smiling portrait since it's more unique, but the tanned, sweaty serious one seems more appropriate for the desert.

For this price point, this one is not bad.

These days , a Hot Toys 1/6 body alone cost $150 so this set is really a great value . 2 heads, full clothing with accessories

Kinda wishing I’d ordered this one and not the Dark Toys one… I’m a big fan of figures that actually get made

I've seen some really good photos of the figure on Facebook. I took dozens but just couldn't get anything decent.

Went back to using the stock crotch grabber, because the waist grabber pushes the jacket out at the back - and because the jacket is so tightly tailored it needs all the volume at the front it can get.

Over night I left him with the stern sculpt, then went back to the smiling one this morning. I think, given the option of an expression, it ought to be used. It's also appropriate for when he's just standing holding the captive bolt gun. It was such a bizarre, menacingly creepy expression that Javier made.

He managed to capture the sculpt, but whatever lighting he had turned the boots red. Though I know the boots vary depending on how much black wash Star Toys put on. Mine are darker, more maroon than red.

I really didn’t like the sculpts on that, did you not know another company was making one?
I liked the look of the regular sculpt on the DT one… I didn’t know anything about either company, what swayed my choice was the neck being part of the headsculpt on the DT version… I generally prefer that

Oh ok, I had the ST Police Story Jacky Chan, which sold me on the company, this will be my third Star Toys figure, including the recent Saint of Gamblers Stephen Chow. I think their sculpts are more top notch than Redman/DT

Some news on the release date for Anton.

TNS wrote about Dark Toys' Deckard a week ago:

this one delay til october. Just talked to redman yesterday. Dtm002 and dtm003 will release first

So Anton and the American Psycho Bateman are due before Deckard's October release date.
