Yeah, seems odd to let the entire Craig era pass without a licensed figure... but then I do believe there was some agreement about "no toys" of Craig during his stint. It is the only explanation. Danjaq/EON is certainly not above making toys for money.

But now Craig is done, so let his 'toys' flow...

That's the only Craig Bond we need...A nice deluxe set with two sculpts..one battered and bruised. A 1/6 poker table/chair with cards and chips etc. Maybe have a removeable chair seat to re-enact the ball bashing scene🤪

I'd love this setup on the shelf

This would be perfect. This particular suit and relevent accessories, with table, chair and cards. Also a loose bow tie so we can go for that look of him in the poster with the bow tie undone. But I doubt we get the chair or table. Connery's opening scene in Dr. No is probably the most iconic scene from any Bond film, but BCS's release doesn't offer a table or chair, only the cards. Maybe as part of a separate accessory release some time in the future hopefully? It is surprising though that Bond from Dr. No doesn't come with a table, but Solitaire from Live and Let Die does... Odd.

Also, I don't think any sculpt i've seen of Craig has actually accurately captured his likeness. I really hope BCS Can get his likeness if and when they do take it on.

It does seem like the natural 'three' for CR would be Bond, Le Chiffre and Vesper. That would be my personal 1st choice.

But Danjaq may go with popular Skyfall and just do a 2 figure set -- Bond and Silva -- which would also make a nice set.

I can't imagine a QoS or Spectre set. Verdict is out on NTTD... but its tough to pair Bond with anyone I would want on my shelf from that film (despite loving Ana I don't really want her on my shelf). Snowsuit Safin with broken mask would make an interesting doll on its own but doesn't pair with any Bond.
A Vesper and Le Chiffre would make it a great trilogy of figures from Casino Royale, but I did hear someone from BCS saying that they are trying to stick with just two characters per film so that it is more within budget for collectors.

I’d settle for the long overdue Timothy Dalton Bond at this rate. Think Craig could be several years away from even a reveal if indeed the line keeps going.
I remember them saying that they had a lot of figures lined up for the Bond line a couple of years back. Do hope that they get things moving. It's such a great line, but they need to actually start making and releasing figures quicker.

If they do stick to the two figure formula, then Bond and the villain makes the most sense, dropping the Bond girl from the mix. QoS is probably the least desired Craig film and would have a boring villain too. CR, Skyfall, Spectre, and NTTD all have decent, visually interesting villains he could be paired with. I’d prefer Le Chiffre or scarred Blofeld out of the 4 main choices. But frankly would just be excited to see anything at this point. If that means we get Greene, so be it :lol

From the Craig era my figure wants are as follows:

Casino Royale: Bond (tux), Vesper and Le Chiffre (I think this one justifies all three)

Quantum: I’d settle for nothing lol but if I had to choose it would be the three piece from the start of the movie right after he shot Mr White and then probably Mr White as the secondary character - Green was a lame villain

Skyfall: Bond (blue or grey suit), M and Silva (this is the only Judy Dench M that’s needed)

Spectre: Optional bond (but white dinner jacket would be the best), Mr Hinx and Blofeld (two heads so you can have the scarred look)

No Time To Die: Bond in his tactical gear from the end of the movie, Madeleine Swan and Safin with the broken white mask

Can't argue with wanting Eva Green. Eva and Ana are my top 2 for the Craig era.

But I imagine the male figures are a lot easier to get right.

I'm still waiting for that render of Red Grant to materialize into a figure... and the plans they showed for the jetpack. Man, if there was ever a perfect display for the Connery era, its Connery in that jetpack lifting off.

I would agree with Casino Royale. That film justifies having 3 figures made. It's one of the few films which actually gets all three characters (Bond, Bond girl, Bond villain), right. And personally, it's the greatest Bond film out there without comparison, so if Goldfinger and Live and Let Die can get three figures, Casino Royale certainly should be given the same treatment.

BCS site now has revised delivery date of TBC for the Dr. No figures. Are these ever going to come out?
They've done it to all their own figures such as Koenig, daleks, doctors, peeky blinders, Flash Gordon etc.
So good luck trying to get any dates for your already deposited or paid for figures.

Actually someone addressed them in regards to the Peaky Blinders figures. They said all of the figures schedule to release earlier than next summer are gonna come out no earlier than that. So expect summer 2022 for everything.

Which will probably turn into Sep/Oct next year. They'll have another ten pre-orders up before that:D

From Big Chief:

Dear customers,
October has been a very busy time here at Big Chief, with literally hundreds of items being shipped out to eager customers.
Our Third Doctor and Thirteenth Doctor sixth scale character replica figures have proven to be a hit with fans and we are thrilled to deliver the quality that collectors have come to expect.
More recently we have taken delivery of additional items from our classic comedy gift lines including premium money banks and keychains, plus a re-order of the series 1 Bobble Buddies that have been so popular with our customers.
The next items due for release include the James Bond Dr. No and Flash Gordon sixth scale character replica figures. These figures were originally scheduled to have shipped from China and to have arrived by November. Having been delayed first by the knock on effects caused by the global pandemic, production has been further impacted by the energy crisis.
As you might well be aware it is not only the UK that has been affected by the ongoing energy crisis, China too is suffering with governmental enforced restrictions on electricity consumption, resulting in factories only able to operate for a reduced number of days per week. In fact our factory was already only able to work for four days per week and that has now been reduced to just two days.
We know that this will be frustrating for our customers and we can only apologise for the ongoing delays. Rest assured we are doing everything we can from our side to get as much work done as is possible in the reduced working week. We are yet to receive a final completion date, but we have been advised that the factory hope to complete production around the end of November, although we feel that it will likely slip into December.
Of course this means that these figures will not make it to our shores for us to ship out in time for the Christmas holiday. We anticipate that the figures will now arrive around the end of January 2022. Of course should this change we will update you.
Given the current circumstances and the unavoidable domino effect on our schedule, all of our outstanding products have been affected in one way or another. We are focused on getting the delayed figures through the tooling process and into mass production as quickly as possible.
At this point we are unable to provide confirmed release dates for any of the outstanding items. All we can say is that these items will certainly not be released until early 2022 onwards. We appreciate that many of you would ideally prefer a more detailed release schedule, right now we do not have that information and the last thing we want to do is to promise something that we cannot guarantee.
Please stay tuned for further updates and thank you for your loyal support and custom.

Agreed. Bad news is better than no news. I think everyone is sick of ‘due to Covid’ and ‘global supply chain’ excuses but the truth is they are still an issue and causing very real delays. I think many of them could have been avoided but like Indiana Jones I think most of us are making it up as we go right now. I don’t think anyone could have predicted just how much Covid was going to change things. Heck, I still can’t regularly predict the current set up at my local fast food joints. Sometimes you can go in and order and other times it’s drive thru only. I think it’s largely staffing related but that’s just one example and they are far from the only industry hit with staffing shortages now. Eventually these mega corporations will have to start paying people better rates to get enough staff again to operate at normal levels again.

I for one am glad they aren’t trying to rush and getting this out before Christmas. The last time they tried that we ended up with nosegate and 6 more months of waiting for replacement heads.

With that said, I’m hoping by the time January rolls around (optimistically), these figures have no issues at all.
