So I recently ordered the Hot Toys Scarlet Spider from Toys4Kidults. While I was impressed with their shipping speed and it arrived in perfect cosmetic condition, the box and figure reek of mothballs. short of actually washing the figure and accessories is there a way to remove the odor? Would the scent potentially fade over time?

you can put it in the open, or put it in a tupperware and toss some carbon dehumidifier pack or charcoal they absorb smells.

I don't know why people use mothballs. A small sliver of soap will do the trick just as nicely.
