Seeing the prices on the statues, I doubt I'd be willing to shell out what they ask for 1/6 figures.
I'd do it for a very select few, Paul included. Like a "Top 10" thing. But it depends on just how much they ask. 400 I can do, maybe 500. But if it's close to the Prime 1 statue, then it'll be harder to justify. I wonder if AUG will try their hand at a Stillsuit too, or if they'll skip it entirely considering it's getting made by QS and it's a fairly complicated design at that.

I think they might be able to snag me with the Paul figure if it’s absolutely amazing, I LOVE Dune, although once they get to £400 ($500 ish) I’ll probably pass.

If figures in general are going to regularly pass the £300/$400 mark I’m going to have to slow down massively, and I think the market will feel the damage as others do the same.

I earn well, don’t collect Marvel or DC (other than a couple of Supermans) and I would probably still have to go from buying regularly to once in a blue moon. It’s just insane to be paying that much for 12 inch ‘toys’ and you have to be properly minted to keep up.

Yep. The one thing Queen Studios have going for them is the possibility to ship direct. i.e they don't need to add shipping to say a US distributor or add margin for said US distributor. So those 2 costs are a big save. It doesn't appear they are wanting to go for volume, so they don't really need a distributor.

With that in mind I'm hoping the price can be on par with Hot Toys or perhaps marginally higher. But like you, myself and others will draw the line at pricing even somewhat higher than Hot Toys.

I’m certainly approaching my limit of collecting in terms of pricing and shelf space. If there are one or two pricey “must-haves” a year and I can budget for them, I could probably manage.

Sooooo……are these even still happening?
I was hoping that the sequel being produced, these would have had more interest. Or has the looming QS release killed it?

good question. i think they had the license only for the asian market anyway. But with Inart holding the license for worldwide distribution this could be a problem. Anyone remembering the Ghostbusters figs from DRAGON i think it was ? They were licensed as well and supposed to drop in the same timeframe as Blitzway's figs, but never came out.

I have the Paul PO, but with the InArt figure coming, I want to see if it's worth keeping both. The problem is InArt is busy with more Batmen and these guys haven't posted an update, so who even knows at this point. Every figure I want is always put on the backburner...

I've still got my PO. I was gonna cancel it when IA announced theirs, but they're being incredibly slow and haven't even shown their Paul, so who knows at this point?

So we’re approaching the end of 23Q1 (release date for Paul was 22Q4).

Has anyone seen or heard anything on any social channels? Realize delays happen but the total lack of communication isn’t terribly helpful.
