Agreed on all fronts. That pic of the Blitzway statue would be to sort of level of accuracy I’d be after with the Stillsuit. If they bring out something on that level, it’ll be a cast iron PO from me.

Ah OK. thought you meant the book and movie. But yeah, I get what you mean about the armour. Simple and utilitarian.

Sculpt doesn't do it for me personally, but glad they are still doing them for the fans. They should have 3D scanned in a HT Thanos sculpt and tweaked it.

I'll be potentially tempted by Paul in a stillsuit, like that Prime1 statue. But I have a feeling they won't get the accuracy at 1/6 and third party. But let's see.

That seems like a weird idea. Tweaking a Thanos sculpt and reworking a whole new sculpt is almost the same effort, because Thanos is still not a 100% likeness of Brolin, if you get what I mean. And they shouldn't have, it's not a good practice. Especially as an artist and a legit official licensed. They should make their own. And I think it's quite good as a sculpt. IMO this is subjective because we're not used to seeing this company. Because we're not sure how it will turn out on release. So we think it's not really good. If it was Hot Toys, even the likeness is the same, at least we are sure the release product will be good.

Oh and Leto had the same armor, right? It's the Atreides armor? So Leto seems an easy production because it's only different in head sculpt. Probably the sword is different too?

Pretty sure that is on Aug Toys, not Kit. EVERYWHERE has it listed as Gorny.

Well, now I'm torn. I'll PO the QS version too, for sure. Question is, do I keep this one too, or will QS do a non-Stillsuit Paul too? Well, I can wait a bit, I've just put down a deposit anyhow.

Good call on Paul for that figure. I only saw the top half and couldn't work out what figure that one could be. Assuming Queen Studio figures will be 1/6 statues though. Still, if it's good that wouldn't really bother me.

OK cool. Then with JND studio (I think that's right) and Queen Studios taking on 1/6 then finally, finally Hot Toys will have some badly needed competition to keep them honest. Maybe we are already seeing that with the new Batman figures. They seem to have gone above and beyond for that 3 release set.
