Im fine with futzing and think that is normal for rooted sculpts, but the eyes and the paint app make it look like a wax figure from Madame Tussauds

I don't think they can issue the GTW head sculpt redone as GTG because (if i'm not mistaken), the neck connection is different?

Adaptors maybe? The GtW sculpt with the paint app is miles ahead and for me, the Asmus's best work so far.

That's what i thought... Mr Asmus please clarify, as i would love a gtg head using gtw head sculpt!

if you remove GtG's neck joint base (the bit came with the bod)
then you have a standard ball joint, which will fit the GtW head

How about getting the GTW sculpt with GTG's beard and hair then? You'd be onto an instant winner with that

Yes the underlying sculpt is great, I think everyone agrees with that; it's just the above mentioned that drag it down.

The hair and beard look good once properly styled but a lot of people don't bother which makes the head look like a ball of cotton wool with a face poking out of it

He certainly gets taken up a notch with some styling

Aye, the beard and hair look great if you spend some time on it! I mean, that sculpt is a dead ringer for McKellen, just a shame about the eyes and paint.

I finally received the replacement hat. Idk. I kinda prefer my original hat.

It looks a little goofy to me.

...and plasticy.

While the original hat is not the best, i still prefer the look of fabric over plastic.

Yeah, I know the brand to get. I've used it before. But I was asking for a link because there's a few different shades and colors aren't my strong suit.

Can we please have GTG heads, I need 2. Thought about just trying to rehair GTW heads, but - nah, will trust in ASMUS
