Congrats, he was my first asmus but I?m already at six if you count preorders.

What?s that tree in the background from? A statue or something else?

This series is addictive, isn't it? Such a great quality and shelf presence.

The tree is from a personal project of mine. It is a root from a Zoo shop which I've extended by using clay to make a tree trunk. Here is a making of pic:

Could have been a bit higher imo, but at least it fits into my shelf

Finally getting Elrond in tomorrow! Stupidly excited!

Just realized after seeing more video reviews I think my Elrond has a defect. Instead of the layers bunched neatly under the cuirass in the back it?s messily glued in a pile. Also, the front chainmail doesn?t lay flat so I think it has to do with how it lays under the plastic armor.

One of Asmus decent release, I guess I got spoiled by Gimli and Thorin because the last 2 that I purchased isn't really doing it for me. I have high expectations for this one but still feels like they are in the Threezero ( Game of thrones not Rambo) quality with closer to hot toys price range.

Went to buy Eomer in the Asmus Black Friday sale and left with Elrond & Faramir too... early Christmas presents to myself apparently [emoji1749].
Elrond, Mouth of Sauron & Twilight Witchking are also in the sale with $10-15 discounts, respectively.
