Today I discovered artist Dennis Mukai.

His stuff seems to share a lot in common with Patrick Nagel. I know Nagel's work is very much out of fashion, but I really liked his stuff before it got bastardized by having knock-offs in every nail salon in America.

After Nagel died in 1984, Mukai replaced him as an artist for Playboy. They definitely have the same influences, combining old Japanese woodblock print style with the new wave 1985 colors.

There's more, but these are the only ones that are PG-13 enough to post.
