Hey all I'm looking for some suggestions on what to use to add some sweat to a figure body ? I've tried gloss varnish but I can't get it to dry, (I've used both oil based and acrylic) also looking for something that doesn't go yellow over time ? I've seen people use floor polish for gloss but I have no idea how it works or what type to use, please someone help me lol

I've never tried it, but I think you'd need to try using proper gloss used on miniatures. It'll be unlikely to go yellow and it's designed to sit on painted surfaces. The miniature paints are specialised, so what you're after.

I use Army Painter matt spray to flatten shiny sculpts. They do a gloss varnish in a small bottle to hand paint. It's cheap.

Also, look on Youtube for miniature sweat/water effects and see what they can tell you.

post a photo. there are different kinds of swear, which one you going for? imo those big drop of sweat hardest to make as you probably need clear resin. as for tiny sweat 1 burst from further distance probably works but it will be random (high psi low paint trigger for finer texture if you have airbrush). for flowing sweat i just use pledge and brush.

yellowing shouldnt be an issue unless its big sweat drops.
