Much better. What kind of paint did you use for the red?

I think you need to touch up his eyebrows and beard slightly, as they have rubbed off a little.
Oh yeah I will have to see to that.
I just used some black felt tip in the base and some vallejo red on top, then combed it through.

Replaced body with Phicen M33, Added leather inlay padding under chest plate, added crossbow detail, added screw earring, face toning with pastel (+ Matt coating)
---FYI. The bike is old one I got from Ebay. Not the one they sell for this figure.

Great job, kyekye!

I passed on the bike, Marine Boy. It was pricey and not even accurate to his ride but I have to admit that kyekye's pics has me reconsidering or at least following his lead with an alternate version.

Welp , Finally got him. Took a day to get some time to open him up. I was not looking forward to it as much seeing some of the gripes and photos here…

Boy was I surprised.

This is a really good figure. Needs a few tweaks but for an old fine scale modeler like myself, it was a joy, and honestly I barely did anything. Most of what you see here was accomplished in about 2 hours ….

I can live with the body for now. Although a more stout frame will go a long way to getting this figure perfect. Honestly , half the time I put in was dealing with the double straps on the leg and knee pads , and the arrows.

The feathers took hardly any time, and the mohawk was shaped in about 20 minutes. I am still working on the hair a bit, but happy to report no staining issue on mine. I have been using cuticle scissors to trim the feather more and get rid of wispy hair. Hes got alot of extra hair at the base of the skull, but I have a feeling its to keep the shape of the mohawk.

How much trouble did the body swap give you?

I wonder about squeezing the legs onto a phicen (or any other body)

and those straps….

Putting on tight leather pants was basically this. LOL!

They eventually fitted in.
All the straps were OK with tweezers.
Yeah I went through that experience with getting the leather pants on the Phicen body, I had to take a breather halfway through let me tell you.😓 I was super worried too that I'd rip the damn things:lol

I am getting a lighter skinned rubber body, so I got to go through all the rigmarole again. :angryfist:

first thing you guys should do after disassembling is apply aerospace 303 on the pleathers. or meguire hyper dressing.
