It's still available at Comic Sanctorum, aka Toyswonderland, for $140. After shipping probably $180ish. I know everyone hates them, though personally I've had no issues with my orders.

Comic Santorum has a number of sales going on that temps me -- $133 for TE Vulture -- but I just have heard so many problems with them, and fear I'll receive a used or broken piece.

You get what you pay for.

I went ahead and got another Mars Toys Joker off of eBay for $237 shipped. I guess I could always just sell off the sculpt and accessories. There’s one for $209 shipped but the seller has 0 sales.

Saw that. Didn't trust the name.

I'm trying to decide how I want to display so many Jokers. Standard Joker and Museum Joker just look too similar on display.

I think I'd go for overcoat (Parade) Joker so I could use most of my DX08 parts for Museum Joker, where you see the full outfit on display. So for Parade Joker all I really need is MAT002 shoes, pants and an orange shirt -- the rest is hidden under the coat.

I’m also trying to figure out the same thing in my head. I’ll have 3 Jokers by the time that this new one arrives. I still want to get my hands on a DX08 as well. I’ll eventually settle with “I’ll deal with it later.” :lol

I have the DX08 and the DX14 (Mime Joker)... this Mob Boss version will be my 3rd Nicholson. If I go the distance and build out a Museum Joker as well, that's 4x Nicholsons. I think that's too many.

I know, I know... you say, you can never have too much Jack. But The Two Jakes tells you otherwise.

1. Parade Joker (in overcoat - money, money, money)
2. Museum Joker (I'm melting)
3. Mime Joker (It's your Uncle Bingo)
4. Mob Boss Joker (Life's been good to me)

Where's DiFabio? He needs to pull me off the edge...

And what about: Vicki's Apartment Joker (You might join me for a weep)

You have predicted your own failure. I'm proud of you.

The gift of clairvoyance takes the suspense out of everything. My failure is complete as of his morning.

I’m in the same boat. Already have the DX08 and 14.
I would say that too many Jokers could do vanish the wow factor. Although it’s tempting, you should decide between Museum and Parade. They’re too close graphically IMO.

I think I will PO this Mob Joker and display it like that:
- Mob Joker
- Mime Joker
- Classic/Parade Joker

And I like keeping a certain duality for visual balance and harmony.

3 Keaton ( Classic Batman / Bruce Wayne / BD Batman)
3 Nicholson ( Mob / Mime / Parade )

My only concern about buying a Mars Toys DX08 clone is it looking significantly worse on the shelf next to the DX08 despite being the "same" outfit - what do you guys think?

I might just display the museum head next to DX08 and not try to assemble an actual figure.

Going this route.

This is the way dog.gif

That's what I was thinking of doing with the museum head and hat, only next to the MAT002.

couldn't resist as its pretty cheap on kghobby

They were the most expensive I've seen so far - $175 with shipping if they don't increase or decrease it when it comes into stock.

TNS is $170, and Kit is $168, or $167 because there's always a dollar off if you have a scatch card from any previous order.

Yes, I agree. Too similar -- lose the POP on the shelf.

I've always wanted to use the overcoat but never have as it covers up that marvelously crazy outfit. What do you think about a closed overcoat Joker displayed, so the Museum Joker could show off the full outfit?

Yes, it could be a way but don’t know… still thinking they’re too similar in terms of tonality.
But it’s ma personal taste…

I think I’m going to display this figure with the smeared forehead makeup, and put the “mob boss” head, tie, and beret on my DX08, posed twirling his cane. As time goes on I’m just not a fan of the stock Hot Toys head anymore.

I also have a laughing museum Joker head I got from Caine years ago that I still need to get painted and fitted to a body.
