I PO'd and paid in full day one so I also got the 3% discount- forgot about that- so my total was HK$8226.
HK$7,556 for the figure, HK$660 Shipping.
I paid in HKD
At the time, that converted to £798 - which I remember as £800- so I converted that to get $985USD in today's money. The conversion rate is worse now.

Which means, they've given you a very nominal charge (426HKD), making it 8226HKD. That's an absolute bargain. Congrats. At least $250/£200 lower than most places.

I'd forgotton that the Aragorns are 'free' shipping. They've been very competive with those prices. $306 for standard. Around $30-$50 cheaper than other places.

Aren't KG a grey retailer of Hot Toys? That's why they're more expensive. Inart would be direct.

As a Brit, KG still work out as my cheapest option by quite a margin for HTs; they're just very slow getting stock in.

Their InArt Joker stock is supposed to arrive in March so it'll be really nice to not be last in line for a change. I don't beleive they've clarified which version of the Joker set they'll be getting though so the rooteds could still be a while away.

Just wait. We'll see. Until its in everyone's hand, you have no idea how this will play out or what "deal" you got.

It does look like shipping rates are starting to normalize again so that's a good thing.

Dozens of people not getting their pre-orders with Toys Wonderland. Dozens of people getting terrible and unreliable customer service. A guy being told he hacked their website and saying he stole money from them and that they are going after him because he used reward points.

One guy is like, "I paid less than everyone else for a figure."

Well I guess toys wonderland might not be so horrible after all
