Think he was joking. This isn't out until 2023. Seeing the backlog and delays of HT, probably 2 years from now for Sideshow to get theirs.

I'm a bit surprised they showed this pose for the promo pics. I've seen similar pictures of this pose from other collectors of the QS001, so the pose can indeed be done. Though it doesn't seem easily doable, as I remember the legs on mine feeling very sturdy and the suit so-so restrictive (though of course I think to achieve that pose would take some finesse and patience lol).

You can get lower than this.

I absolutely love everything about this figure. Outside of this figure, I obviously love Christian Bale (look at the lettering, the tasteful thickness of it...) love the movies and loved the suit. With the emphasis on loved.

A decade later and this suit hasn't aged well for me. Nothing has been the same since Batfleck since those suits are near perfection, especially love the thick neck and big traps. But I have to pick 1 Batman, it has to be TDK, even with the overly designed suit.

The pictures of the figure itself doesn't do it for me either, he looks so 'off'... BUT I've seen the JND statue and wow. It looks better proportion wise, especially around his head/shoulders. Maybe its the close up pictures of the HT one, but can anyone confirm the HT proportions are good/comparable to the JND one?
The JND Batman proportions are pretty perfect. I have the QS001, the proportions on it are also very good. If I were to nitpick, the legs are perhaps are a tad too long. Obviously the cowl will also look a little awkward depending on how it is positioned. Moving into the bigger scales, 1/4 and 1/3, statues I would say are definitely the route to take. You don't really want to be moving/posing/fidgeting with such a big figure in general, and characters will always look more natural and life-like in statue format.

The JND Batman looks pretty incredible, though i'm not sure about the expression or skin texturing on the Bruce Wayne, both are a little overdone I feel. As for the HT 1/4 Bruce Wayne head, it is very well detailed, but the likeness could certainly be better. If I had a choice, I would go for the JND 100%, simply because there is more detail, and it will look more life-like. But the QS001 is still an incredible piece for less that 1/5th of the price, but hopefully Hot Toys do rectify some of the issues I have mentioned in time for the new release.

Really loving how much the nose shortening improves the overall sculpt. I wish Hot Toys was still the company that used to improve things before final release. 😔 Their recent track record makes me think this reissue could actually be worse than the original when it finally hits

After receiving the DX19 and having a lot of fun with it I definitely am more tempted now to get this 1/4th version.

I ordered the original QS figure as soon as they debuted the revised figure. I was so sick of how the DX12 looked that, despite this being in a scale I’d never dabbled in before, I forced him to work in my collection. He’s pretty sweet in a detolf, although the base sucks.

I definitely feel he may be a bit redundant (to me, anyway) now that the DX19 exists, but he’s still a pretty sweet centerpiece for a Dark Knight collection. Although, whenever I decide to thin my collection, he might get the axe - along with the QS Begins Batman and Joker; I really regret ordering those. Begins Batman looks sweet but the lack of PERS/alternate eye plates really kills display options.

Just be one of the people to bid on my upcoming custom 1:4 cowl with posable eyes, pop it on an Enterbay, buy two velvet capes, then buy another Enterbay just for the stand and boom, presto! Perfect 1:4 Batman Begins and TDK.

Yeah in my opinion the 1/4 is a tremendous figure, the sheer scale/size and presence of it is great to see. I have the Armory and QS001 Bats and I'm glad to have both.

I've got the Armory and 01 and am very happy with both scales, as I appreciate what both bring. Though I can see why some would ultimately prefer one scale over the other as well all have our preferences :duff

Agree on the Begins Batman, I also feel he needed more features/accessories to become an even better figure.

I do hope they fix the minor problems that the origibal QS had I mean it can be a great re-release just with a decent cape and better proportions. But, man I know them 😒....

Anyway I'm starting a little 1/4 collection of the Dark Knight but I'm still working on my joker (the daftoys coat probably arrived next week) and I just need a new figure to display that fantastic bruce sculpt 😖 probably I'll try one of those neca batman arkham origins bootleg

I’m ready for this to release 😂

It feels like HT is sort of forgetting about 1/4 scale and this reissue seems like an odd choice with all the pressure on them in 1/6. I’m really curious to see if the 1/6 competition leads them to improve this one.

Yeah the 1/4 line isn't getting as much care as the 1/6, as it seems it isn't as popular. Would like to see more new characters in the QS format, just imagine a 1/4 Reeve Superman, a 1/4 Keaton Batman, the 1/4 Terminator T-800 they teased a while back, a 1/4 Captain America, a 1/4 Thor, a 1/4 Black Widow. etc. Just imagine! :thud:

I'm still waiting to receive my 1/6 version which has just made it to Australia. I shouldn't have preordered it, because otherwise I could have bought it from overseas months ago.
I thought for sure the 1/4 scale figure would be released before I got the 1/6 DX...
