I feel like I need two of those bases. One to display the Enterbay figure on the gargoyle and another for this figure with the other side facing forward.

It’s definitely a little bit of that and just me feeling all black or white furniture can make a room look cheap. My main display is all black and glass but my desk and this have wood with black accents.
Absolutely love that display! Epic Dark Knight trilogy setup.

Where do you get those smaller shelves to display the sixth scale figures in the same cabinet as the quarter scale?

Some more shots of the prototype on display

“Prototype” this just looks like a QS001. I feel it’s unlikely they recreated the original paint apps this closely. I think they probably haven’t even started any efforts to produce these and were just like hey take some pics of that figure we’ll make more later.

Are you asking about the bookcases between the Detolfs or the half shelves inside the detolfs?

The bookcases are from all modern and customized by me to have doors and accommodate the Batmobile.

The half shelves I found on eBay for more than they’re worth. I’ve considered doing a run of my own though since I have an acrylic supplier now.

Yes, the half shelves within detolf.

I took a shelf out of my detolfs to be able to display quarter scale and the life size Grogu but would be nice to not loose so much of that space.

Neat display! I like how you have all the 1/12 vehicles on one of the top shelves.

I’m gonna be the weird guy, but I was honestly hoping the teeth sucking head was the one that wasn’t going to be left out. It’s definitely the most…odd and niche of the bunch, but it’s also the one that has always struck me as being the most distinctively Bale. I think each face has a great likeness, but that is the one that just evokes scene after scene for me. “But what I dooooo…” “You’re a monster…” And so on and so forth.

Hmm, true :ROFLMAO: Bale's Batman was very distinctive.

I feel like I need two of those bases. One to display the Enterbay figure on the gargoyle and another for this figure with the other side facing forward.

Yes! Agree, I think that would look killer.

I gotta say, I feel like all the people saying this thing is just a remake of the QS001 are definitely misremembering…:lol

They updated the original when released. Those are proto pics that are not accurate at all to the actual release.

Yes HT used to improve figures from prototype to release more often.

Oh, I know. It was a poor attempt at a joke reminding people that their first prototype was complete ass.

I absolutely love everything about this figure. Outside of this figure, I obviously love Christian Bale (look at the lettering, the tasteful thickness of it...) love the movies and loved the suit. With the emphasis on loved.

A decade later and this suit hasn't aged well for me. Nothing has been the same since Batfleck since those suits are near perfection, especially love the thick neck and big traps. But I have to pick 1 Batman, it has to be TDK, even with the overly designed suit.

The pictures of the figure itself doesn't do it for me either, he looks so 'off'... BUT I've seen the JND statue and wow. It looks better proportion wise, especially around his head/shoulders. Maybe its the close up pictures of the HT one, but can anyone confirm the HT proportions are good/comparable to the JND one?

I disagree, I think the Batfleck suits are already aging poorly. The overdone fake muscles give me a real 90s vibe and they seem so out of place or even corny in dramatic scenes. Like we’re either supposed to believe Batfleck is constantly flexing or actually wears fake muscles in universe.

We’re now going to a new stand alone franchise with Pattinson and it’s design language, if anything, looks like a technological predecessor to TDK. I think TDK suit is still the most high tech and practical looking suit we’ve seen. It’s also the only one to fully integrate a “detective vision” system that even predates Arkham games. The high tech cape that can turn into a sleek backpack, the hybrid materials, I think it’s all great.

As for the proportions of the QS001. There are a few tricks. You can futz the chest armor and neck to get the head neck and shoulders looking the best. Adding a custom cape (shameless plug) can fill out the traps and bring the shoulders into proportion. My velvet capes are the blackest out there and they bunch up perfectly at the shoulders. Changes the look of the whole figure.

How much are those capes? Proportions do look much better there. I need to try futzing the chest armour to reduce the length of the neck.

Just rewatched the movie and holy ******* ****. That ending hits different. It's easy to get carried away by all the new, fancy stuff and forget the gems the past has given us.

What I finally noticed what's a bit off about this figure, is his eyes. In TDKR, and maybe the previous ones, his eyes are always more relaxed. But with this figure it looks like he just snorted a kg coke....

Regardless, this bad boy is pre-ordered. Just noticed how his mouth is always opened lol.

I think I only posted this in the QS001 thread and not here, but it turns out shortening the nose has a huge impact on the overall proportions. I swear it somehow makes the eyes and top of the head and everything look more balanced somehow.

Unfortunately I had to cancel this because I couldn't get pass the fact how INCREDIBLE the JND one looks. So I got that baby. Having both this and a 1/3 scale wouldn't make sense. Don't have a 1/6 scale Batman yet so got the DX19 too.

Hopefully you'll do a 1/6 mouth plate for DX19. Such small scale, much profit. Source: Trust me bro @OT_Customs_

I’m doing a full 1/4 cowl. I should be starting the process to scan the interior and exterior dimensions of the QS001 soon. I think having the exact chin plate area and magnetic neck socket adapters inside the 3D model of the head will be a good starting place for me to redesign the cowl.

I’m going to play around with a few ideas. A cowl that can accept QS001/0019 eye plates, a cowl with sculpted eye lids that can accept stock eye balls, and full cowls with supplied photo realistic resin eyeballs (if I can source them).

With this I can offer my new design in 1/6 and 1/4 and varying price points. If you’re comfortable popping your stock eye plate out and swapping it over I would just supply the empty cowl with pegs for the neck adapter.

I will also be able to digitally port over my chin sculpt designs from my 1/6 Begins cowl project.

Crazy that we already have some early in hand pics of this reissue. Molds appear to be shot and doesn’t include ANY of the promised accessories!
