I can't even imagine what this is going to cost, Neca's Arkham Batman is what... just under $1200?
I imagine this will be in the $3-5000 range

Glad to see they are working on important stuff to add to everyone's collections :lol

HT has really been branching out lately. I can't say I like it with so many things they've shown off in the past and abandoned. I think they'd be better off just sticking to their bread and butter 1:4 scale. The tens of people that buy this will be happy I'm sure, but I can't imagine those resources could have been better utilized in products people could actually afford. I guess there is high-end collectibles and then there is HIGH-end collectibles.

I think that as a company it's important for them to branch out and test their limits, I don't want it and honestly, even if I was absolutely loaded rich, I can't see myself getting this, but it is still impressive and good for the company as a whole to be able to create this

At 1:1 scale and for the price it's going to be, I'd much rather get a costume of that detail that I could wear AND put on display like that

Exactly! If I'm ever getting a 1:1 item, I'd want to ability to wear it. I'm guessing this is just a statue with no articulation, which is sad because with it being life size, it should be an articulated marvel. Just about all human anatomy articulation would be available at that scale if they went for it. Anyone can make a 1:1 statue. Not everyone could make a full 1:1 articulated figure. Now that would impress me.

With this announcement though, I can't help but think they are racking their brains to figure out how to make that 1:6 scale Millennium Falcon a possibility. Or 1:1 Hulkbuster. This really could open up a whole can of crazy worms.

It looks great, but even if I´d be oprah-rich I would divide the prize and would get way different things.
But congrats to those who will get him.

Thank you for making me picture a commercially available 1:1 Hulkbuster... amazing, hahaha
It wouldn't even fit in someone's garage, that beast would have to be weatherproof because it wouldn't get into anyone's home

I hope they scanned that sculpt and reduce it to replace the faceplate on their 1:6 version. Anyway, I guess producing huge items is no longer an issue with HT like what happened with The Bat or the BTTF DeLorean?

There's a difference in trying to make a 1/6 scale bat(and they released a 1/6 time machine, a 1989 batmobile, two tumblers..so your point..don't see it) and a 1/1 statue. It's a different market. 1/1 statues are not new or unheard of. This just gives them a way to offset all the display pieces they make for cons.

You can buy a 1:1 hulkbuster. You can buy 1/1 statues on eBay. It's not hard to imagine these selling. If you have just the mms hot toys figures, all of them, you've spent 85k or so. If you just have the iron man figures you've spent 10-15k, at retail.

If I had the money and room, it'd have to be something like the Keaton suit (with removable eyes and mouth plates, for empty suit display option). For whatever reason, I think that will continue to stand the test of time, where more Batman suits will just come and go over the years. And I'm saying that as someone who loves the affleck armor. That said, I love that things like this exist and are purchasable even though I'll never have one.

I wish ht would concentrate on some of the older licenses such as aliens, terminator and pred instead of releasing items like this. I mean seriously how many people are going to buy this?. Only a handful i'd imagine and also can you picture the cost of shipping on this thing. More stupidity from HT a company people are rapidly losing confidence in.
