Solid snake sculpts are few and far between, but you can find a few out there. Some of franks and Sean’s float around aswell as on some collectors groups on FB. Check eBay aswell there’s a couple 3D prints that are decent.

Parts printed, painted, a few more things to be touched up. I ended up repainting the Snake sculpt I had because the prior paint app was spotty. Holster was a pain in the ass but I got the placement just where I want it!

What kind of wash did you use on the suit beforehand? I have a spare that I’m fixing to fiddle with

Me personally I don’t think it’s worth it unless you plan on customizing it. Better head sculpt, better under suit, accessories that aren’t super brittle etc.

I agree with this, I’d like to see more solid snake or any other character. Maybe a better PW figure for big boss but I think we’re good on big boss for awhile. I’d love to see an updated Raiden from MGS4 OR an Ocelot figure from any of the games

here’s a quick update on my solid snake build..belt, mk holster, and a Frank head sculpt are in the works! Should I dry brush the vest and boots?

So far the seams are holding up, definitely better than expected but yes the only real issue I had with the pegs was one of the wrist pegs was loose but I made a quick fix for that.

The suits are holding up quite well! Really it’s just the joints on raiden that are kinda shabby which is why I won’t pose him any other way in fear of snapping them haha

Thanks! I actually just picked up the medicom old snake and Yamato doll Solid snake so those will be added soon but I’m going to tweak them a bit.
