InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Well, I finally got my invoice from Kit, so I'll see for myself fairly soon what this bad boy looks like in-hand. I hope the quality of the workmanship from InArt has steady improved during the long wait rather than gone downhill, e.g., simply in a rush to get them all completed and shipped!

1/6 BvS: Dawn of Justice - Armored Batman (2.0) (Deluxe Version)

Hmm. I just assumed that the deluxe version would include a rage face! Oh well.

    Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon

Nothing we can do if others don’t like it, lol.

1/6 BvS: Dawn of Justice - Armored Batman (2.0) (Deluxe Version)

Bah, I went ahead and ordered the Deluxe version. It bothers me though, because we may get the same figure only better from InArt. And honestly, to me the 1.0 plastic version looks amazing. But there actually aren’t all that many characters that really excite me enough to buy figures for, so I...

1/6 BvS: Dawn of Justice - Armored Batman (2.0) (Deluxe Version)

Yeah, that’s the thing, that’s his face where he gets in touch with the fact that feeling helpless at witnessing his parents’ murder as a child has been unconsciously running his life, etc. And the rage face is cool too, I like it as well! But just saying that this lost in thought face is the...

1/6 BvS: Dawn of Justice - Armored Batman (2.0) (Deluxe Version)

Prediction: Hot Toys BvS Superman 2.0 will still use the same head sculpt. 😕

    Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon

I guess I'll add another comment about the good natured ribbing of being "obsessed" about Snyder's films... I guess when one looks at politics and religion it's not so weird a situation to defend something that other people vehemently hate. I have jokingly compared reaction to Snyder's films to...

    Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon

I think wez was probably confusing what I said with what T8OO said. I mentioned that Zack Snyder has said that he recommends that folks watch the two director’s cuts back to back, although taking breaks as needed obviously. He shot them as one movie, actually. But for practical purposes he broke...

1/6 BvS: Dawn of Justice - Armored Batman (2.0) (Deluxe Version)

Yeah, that’s where I’m ending up with it too. Plus I have Hot Toys Battle Damaged Armored Batman 1.0 which to me is pretty awesome. I still display it regularly. It’s the very first figure I ever got, actually. It would help to get confirmation that InArt’s BvS Batman will be the mech suit.

1/6 BvS: Dawn of Justice - Armored Batman (2.0) (Deluxe Version)

Hmm. Well it’s diecast and has both the damaged and undamaged head sculpts. $370 is a premium price but I can live with it. The big question is do I wait for InArt’s BvS Batman…? Sorry if I’m late to the party here, but has InArt stated which version of BvS Batman they’re making? Because if...

    Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon

So Zack mentions in the Empire magazine interview that Rebel Moon Part 3 has been green-lit by Netflix and is up next for him in his production schedule. Netflix is evidently happy with performance of the franchise. Views of Part 1 were quite good despite critics panning it. Zack said 80-90M...

    Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon

I’d like to think he’d be supportive, haha. Would he think I have overanalyzed some things? Perhaps… But he wouldn’t knock the deep interest I show in the subject matter. No way.

    Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon

Can’t say for sure, but I feel pretty confident that he’d most likely really appreciate the posts I make that call attention to the deconstructive aspects of his movies.

    Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon

I know right? “Don’t do that!” I mean, it’s there, deal with it. Arguably the best film experience of all time as far as the cultural consensus goes is 11 1/2 hours long. And many, many fans watch it as a marathon. That is a fact. The assertion was that a film experience is automatically...

    Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon

Hey, I had exited way, way back in this thread. @Wor-Gar pulled me back in, you can blame him! All I can do is continue to express how I see Snyder’s work, and explain why I like it, all the while acknowledging and accepting that others literally detest something that I have grown deeply fond...

    Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon

Perfectly fine with me if some feel six hours is too long for them to tolerate comfortably. But I’m not fussed about a 6 hour—or as mentioned an 11 1/2 hour film experience. To be fair it is broken into two 3 hour movies. Obviously, anyone is free to watch them separately. But many of us plan...

Which is my favorite film experience of all time.

    Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon

People do it all the time for entire seasons of TV series on streaming services. That’s about a 6 hour watch, actually, with breaks.* This is like a new normal for visual story consumption, actually. *8 episodes x 42 minutes = 5.6 hours.

    Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon

Yeah, to be fair I think I also read some say “some of the best action he’s ever done,” etc. I think there was one review where the viewer felt it was “the” best action he’s done. It’ll be interesting to see where it falls on the Zack Snyder action ranking scale. Yeah, as to the six hour length...

    Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon

So fans… and admittedly most of them Zack Snyder superfans… that have seen fan-only screenings of Rebel Moon Part 2 The Scargiver are not unexpectedly giving it raves. But what is most interesting to me is I’m consistently reading that some feel the action is the best Snyder has ever done. That...
