Hot Toys 1/6 Black Panther Erik Killmonger

Not as bad as I initially thought, but the excessive amount of gold makes the suit look cheap. The prototype is still miles better.

A director's cut could help to fill in those blanks but I'm not getting my hopes up.

1/6 Hot Toys MMS - Avengers: Infinity War - War Machine Mark 4

Hot Toys just want to cash in on the hype. Movie studios spend millions on advertising, so why not take advantage of the movie marketing and announce related merchandise at the same time? Sure, Hot toys could announce products closer to their release date but the hype would have long passed.

1/6 Hot Toys Speculation Thread - Avengers 4

Yup.... Which is why some stores implement mandatory deposit. Most of these figures will not see release till Q3 2020 or later; by then, the fad would have died off and half the folks would have lost interest.

Maybe war machine mk 6 got a major upgrade somewhere along the film. That's the most likely explanation.

1/6 Hot Toys Avengers End Game - War Machine

Might be the case in the movie, the bulky war machine suit could be an upgraded/heavily modified mark 6. However, it makes more sense for HT to release a separate figure, given how different the upgraded suit looked.

1/6 Hot Toys - Infinity War - Iron Man

It's a compromise we can live with. The precedence has already been set. I don't think HT wants another Diecast Ironman Mark 3 debacle. "Waist articulation or bust", is the message that HT received.

I don't think it's a misdirection, it kinda lines up with the leaks.

MK4 has that pixellated camo paint scheme, and it might be the only suit to carry such a unique paint-job. Keep the mk4 pre-order. The release date for the mk4 and endgame suits are probably many, many months apart, so there's plenty of time to save up for both.

1/6 Hot Toys 1/6 Captain Marvel

To be fair, the trailers are kinda meh, the plot seems rather predictable and the action bits (released to the public thus far), are not entirely thrilling. An amnesiac hero rediscovering her identity and purpose is a common trope these days, it would take more than positive early screenings to...
