I might be wrong but the glossy mark might be the gloss finish they used to make the eyes look gloss which dripped onto the cheek. You can mask off the surrounding area (cover the eyes) and spray a little matte clear on that spot, it should get rid of the gloss once it dries. I like Mr. Hobby...

Odd that you bring up Ollies, went there for the first time today and... they had nothing of interest. A bunch of Marvel legends and D&D figures no one wants. mostly for $10, which is too much for what it is. They did have those Starting lineup Basketball figures for $8, No Classified figures...

Unless you're buying a lot of items in one order for free shipping at EE, the Amazon price might be the better deal.
