Anyone have the Sideshow that can do a side by side photo comparison? The Sideshow release is really good IMO, so I'm hesitating to upgrade. Understand the head sculpt is better, but mine is displayed helmeted.

Got mine recently also. It's good eye paint away from being the best thing to some out of Gentle Giant in a long time. Wish they could have nailed the eyes. Who am I kidding, still the best thing to come out of GG in a long time, and the first thing I've purchased from them in years after...

Starts at 2:18. Looks decent. Definitely could be better, but considering some of their recent travesties (Dark Side Rey bust), I'm actually pleasantly surprised with my lowered expectations.

Every picture I've seen of this has the pants hiked up way too high. They can easily be adjusted down to the right height, and even if the waistline rides a little low it is hidden by the vest. Still have some futzing and posing to do, but pretty pleased.

Just unboxed mine, and this was the range I was able to get on the wings in the flight stand. I have seen no picture that does justice to the gloriousness of this figure. It exceeds expectations.

No. I order from overseas all the time, including Japan, and we do not have import taxes on personal purchases. Most states do have a sales tax, but I believe only US sellers have to charge that (I live in one of the few states w/o a sales tax). You may want to verify eBay Japan doesn't collect...
