If I want to tighten joints on figures I use Future acrylic floor polish. It goes on clear and clean and usually works unless the joint is super duper loose. If I use too much and something has to give the Future will scrape off before the plastic breaks.

I have a few SH figures whose hands can pop off easily. My Harley Quinn seems to be the worst. I think that getting the hand attached properly in the first place is part of the problem. I have found that if I heat up the wrist and hand first with a hair dryer it will make the joint "seat"...
