It did look like that in the original specs and prototype pics. Once you take the film off of it, it does look nicer with the matte finish, but it’s flimsier than a cake mold man. Super cheap. Like a blown up 1989 toy biz Batmobile cocoon if you had it.

I got my replacement from Kit. The glasses were in a small hard plastic rectangular container and the head was wrapped in plastic and in a ziploc bag.

Forget the cape, how about the mask. Anyone put on a cowl before? It’s the most uncomfortable thing imaginable. I don’t care if it’s Keaton’s, Kilmer’s, Clooney’s, Bale’s, Affleck’s or Pattison’s. It is hot, uncomfortable, severely limits your movement and your peripheral vision is gone...

Not to mention the actual figure is really kind of gruesome. Big gash in his right cheek, chunks of shrapnel in his shoulder, hands and forearms. I remember sitting in theaters thinking “man, this movie would be a downer for kids”. They brutally kill off Supergirl and Batman multiple...

I bet they release a new Batman Forever film cut for 2025. That giant bat plays a huge part in the abandoned/cut footage, why would they include it as a build a figure in an ordinary year? A company really needs to make the Panther suit Kilmer.

I still don’t think there are as many buyers for even the most popular character as there used to be. It’s drying up.

First time they ever cancelled a figure that made it to production/mms/ post-prototype stage. I’m sure more cancellations will be on the way. Between this and low quantity edition sizes on Hot Toys/Sideshow product, it looks like the real economy is finally catching up with these toy companies...

He’s probably coming with multiple heads. If he has that one that’s in the first post on page 1, this is an instant buy for me.
