    1/6 Hot Toys - HONŌ STUDIO | X-Men - Magneto Action Figure

Sure but... then people just switch to bitching about not being able to pose the things because the rubber suits are so thick and bunch up when you bend joints, or that the coating might flake or whatever XD That folds into what I mean about people not being realistic about what's possible vs...

    1/6 Hot Toys - HONŌ STUDIO | X-Men - Magneto Action Figure

So then would you say you've already gotten that with Magneto, in the Sideshow version?

    1/6 Hot Toys - HONŌ STUDIO | X-Men - Magneto Action Figure

"The worst part is, in the cover art they seem to be referencing heavily, Magneto has lines on his torso, and they look SO much better" Do they, though? I often find that when comic book nerds are complaining about panel lines and texture changes on real-life costumes, they always link back...

Thunder Toys- The "Phantom" (Ghost From AM&TW)

I'm down, if the price is decent. Looks alright enough for a second or third row figure behind some of the main players. Would love to see them tackle a Yellowjacket from the first movie.

1/6 Hot Toys - Thor: Love and Thunder - Gorr collectible figure

Nice. Enjoyed the movie, wasn't perfect but was a fun couple of hours. Wish Gorr was utilized more, but still looks pretty cool as a figure. Might try to tatter the bottom of that robe a bit more... looks a touch too "uniform" to me.

Hot Toys 1/6 Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness - Dead Strange

Why? Because the shade of brown looks a bit different? Or because a bunch of idiots on Facebook have started making that chocolate hands joke and now you're unwilling to back down from your entrenched position of a "huge downgrade?" XD I'm not super interested in explaining how the color of...

Hot Toys 1/6 Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness - Dead Strange

Perhaps you should follow your own link. The level of painting (effectively 1-2 base colors with a wash) is the same; what's different between the photos is the tone of light and specular reflection both providing more contrast or highlighting certain details over others. Apparently that has...

    1/6 S-HERO - SH001 Doom Monarch (Doctor Doom)

Just FYI, and you probably don't give a ****, but if you find an STL that looks like a highly detailed model, and it's being sold for $1.26, chances are you're buying it from someone who just scrapes STLs from various sculptors and relists them dirt cheap, profiting off of and devaluing the...

    1/6 Present Toys PT-70 / PT-71 Mutant Man C (X-Men Cyclops)

I had no idea it had become that valued. I just have them all sleeved in a binder in my closet. My 1992 set will always be my favorite, though. That's the one with memories of sitting around the school lunch table with my friends marveling at Jusko's incredible art.

    1/6 Present Toys PT-70 / PT-71 Mutant Man C (X-Men Cyclops)

Ohh yeah, definitely grabbing this one. Looks awesome. Additional pictures make me even more confident that that first picture is photoshopped though, and the stock body (looks to be single jointed elbow) will not be able to touch the visor.

    1/6 Present Toys PT-70 / PT-71 Mutant Man C (X-Men Cyclops)

Even if you stuff a larger body into a suit so that the fabric has no choice but to contour to the general shape of the muscles, you still don't overcome the problem that, outside of extreme lighting situations, there will never be enough shadow generated to create that visual interest to these...

    1/6 Present Toys PT-70 / PT-71 Mutant Man C (X-Men Cyclops)

Didn't Sideshow already make a plain-suit "I'm wearing a Spirit halloween spandex" Cyclops for people that want the animated series look? Plain, giant swaths of solid color from comic books work because there's inking, shading and muscle definition to give those areas visual interest. Its...

    1/6 Present Toys PT-70 / PT-71 Mutant Man C (X-Men Cyclops)

Looking forward to seeing some more pictures. That right arm bent to touch the visor like that looks either photoshopped, or like the elbow/hand couldn't quite bend enough to touch the visor and they're using forced perspective to give it that impression.

    Toys Battalion "Gold Magus" *coughAdamWarlockcough*

I mean... it's something. Headsculpt isn't great, but I don't see Hot Toys jumping to announce more of this line. Features: Head and body accessories: ★ Highly detailed head sculpt x 1 Piece ★ 1/6 scale action figure body (Approximately 31cm tall) x 1 Piece ★ Hands x 8 Pieces Costume &...

They quietly removed the "coming soon" listings for both versions from their new products page.

    HAWKEYE (Clint Barton potential figure)

I'm going to count on a third party to make this. They can recast a headsculpt, the costume is super simple... it will happen at some point.

Iron Man 2 - 1/6th scale Iron Man Mark IV (Holographic Version) Collectible Figure

Was only able to get 2 at a time to work, but have two accounts, so... Looking forward to turning these ugly things into some cool customs :)
