Well, really, for most Trek figures how much can you give them? What else would they give Shaw, besides maybe a cane? I wonder if maybe the prices for Shaw are related to the estimated preorders. Like, if he's going to naturally sell less, you have to raise the price a bit to compensate. Yeah...

I mean, they literally hired Playboy bunnies and adult film actresses for several of these roles. TOS was a sexy, flirty show. Other series tried to follow suit, but sadly they didn't seem to understand how to do much more than throw a skintight suit on a woman and go from there.

I think costs overall just have to go up a bit. It's still, at least, significantly cheaper than most other 1/6 scale figures.

Agreed. I'd rather have a loose S1 uniform or an inaccurate "Yesterday's Enterprise" uniform than no Tasha at all. If Playmates can get away with it...

I think Seven needed the expensive custom body because they had to do the ribbing on the abdomen, plus those tetas, va-voom! Also, for some reason, I think she has some kind of metal endoskeletal structure.

Then why bother hiding it? Plenty of 1/6 figs I have show the neck joint.

I have interest if only because I think it'll be cool to eventually have them lined up chronologically and you can see the uniform evolutions as you go down the line. Wow, when I type it out like that it sounds really nerdy.

Extra bonus: If the costumes look off, it's movie accurate since they just raided the DS9 cast wardrobe. That's why Riker looks like he's wearing a skintight suit. They didn't even try for Worf or Deanna.

THank you! Sadly, it's time has long passed. Plus, I realized later it never would have happened. The producers were allergic to anything but the most tangential reference to DS9.

I always get mine from Sideshow. I use points to mitigate costs, which is one of the few ways I keep my wife from skinning me alive whenever I get a new figure. It comes later than if I ordered from Exo, but I'm a patient man.

Yeah. Just from photos, it looks superior to Kira, for the "transforming" accessory if nothing else. I would have switched the ratings.
