1/6 Hot Toys -TMS056 - The Mandalorian: Boba Fett and Throne (REPAINT ARMOR)

Got my email. Was not expecting to not find any reviews when I looked after I got the email.

    The Batman (June 25, 2021)

I have 2 of the Jada Toys Batmobiles (never in my life did I think I would fall in love with a car as much as Mad Max’s Ford Falcon but this new beast has taken the throne), I bought all the McFarlane action figures, his Batcycle, and both McFarlane 12 inch statues. Also preordered the deluxe HT...

    The Batman (June 25, 2021)

That’s my impression. That was one of my favorite theater moments as it was so out of nowhere. I also hope they explore Batman possibly becoming addicted to venom as he is completely overwhelmed by his role as savior, protector, and ass beater.

The Book Of Boba Fett (December 2021)

I was willing to accept Morrison as a continuation of the Boba Fett from the OT because of the 5 year gap between Jedi and Mandalorian. How he got out of the Sarlaac, what happened to him during that time and losing his armor I was picturing a tortured 5 years which made his appearance...

The Book Of Boba Fett (December 2021)

I do not post in threads very often because I stay out of Star Wars discourse now and just enjoy what I enjoy from it. Mandalorian has kept my interest in new content after Rise of Skywalker pretty much stole all excitement I had for SW. Mandalorian is respectful to the lore, the fans, and...

    1/6 Sideshow 1/6 General Grevious

He just looks so wonderful in the collection.

    1/6 Sideshow 1/6 General Grevious

I think it’s great besides the issues everybody knows of by now. If you get the new joints, he holds poses rather well.

I did receive replacement joints for the split arms and they do work wonderfully. They seem to hold poses tighter so far. If you want them, I would suggest emailing sideshow for them.

1/6 Sideshow Mythos Boba Fett Figure.

Really digging this figure despite the loose legs. The costume is so well done.

This is my response from Sideshow. Does not mention if they will be “new” joints or just the same as before.

1/6 Sideshow Mythos Boba Fett Figure.

Broke down and picked this guy up. Thinking of swapping bodies. Anyone try an HT body? I love the look of this figure so much, but those legs are floppy and the stand is junk.

    1/6 Sideshow 1/6 General Grevious

If I were a stronger man I would have returned him when the offer was available to do so. The first night I opened him I was so angry at myself for falling into the trap of sideshow promises. Then I started playing around with balancing him, getting some poses that I liked and he has become one...

I do love this figure though. Such a unique shelf presence. If he only wasn’t floppy unless you do the work of making him somewhat stable.

I sent an email to ask if we are getting replacement joints for the other set of arms. I said mine were just as loose and that I just expected that those joints were part of the Great Sideshow “Fix”

    1/6 Sideshow 1/6 General Grevious

Good question. I may email them and see what response I get for asking. Honestly, it’s such a weird move as both sets of arms are loose.

    1/6 Sideshow 1/6 General Grevious

Exactly. Part of the allure of owning Grievous is for the 4 arm lightsaber look which makes him stand out from any other character.

    1/6 Sideshow 1/6 General Grevious

Yes. I applied clear floor finish to the quadruped pegs and that works but it’s still somewhat floppy unless they are positioned just right. The new joints on the 2 arms hold extremely well and can support the added weight of the cape which I am a big fan of.

Thank you! I’m really digging that my $300 toy can hold poses that I want now 😂
