    Dark Toys 1/6 Rick Deckard

I think Deckard wore 5 different shirts in BR: The "noodle" shirt with the swirly purple stripes The "VK" lozenge pattern shirt The "Zhora" Western style shirt The "Bradbury" shirt ...and finally, a maroon shirt (where only the collar is visible), in the "escape" scene.

1/6 UJINDOU UD9029 US Army 173rd Airborne Brigade Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol (Vietnam War)

I was looking into what extra bits I would need to find, to make a "beach scene" Willard. So far, I have come up with: Sling for the M16A1 M1911A1 and black holster Black neckerchief Watch with black strap Compass pouch Rolled up poncho + straps Sticking plaster ...and if I'm being a complete...

    1/6 QORANGE QOTOYS QOM-1038 Japanese 27th Regiment (Lushunkou, 1904)

I was expecting to see a Japanese "World War Zero" figure to appear shortly after the Russian one, They look well made and it's good to see something different, but they are not ones I am interested in collecting. The "Invaders" description on one but not the other, is amusing.

If you search online for grosgrain ribbon, you should find it available in various widths (e.g. 3mm, 6mm, 10mm) and colours.

1/6 QORANGE QOTOYS QOM-1032 American Civil War 7th Iowa Volunteer Regiment in Charlotte (1862)

I did see some replica 7 button jackets... but call me a cynic, I would like to see a period reference/photo of a 7 button infantry jacket. Reenactors very occasionally get it wrong. :lol This website had a lot of info, but only mentions 8 or more buttons: Federal Infantry Uniform Jacket &...

1/6 QORANGE QOTOYS QOM-1032 American Civil War 7th Iowa Volunteer Regiment in Charlotte (1862)

I too am not a fan of the head sculpt. 🙈 Not sure about the 7 buttons on the shell jacket, as I can't find any period pics or references to state issued jackets with less than 8 buttons. The flank companies of the 7th Iowa were issued Springfield rifles in 1861, with the other companies being...

1/6 QORANGE QOTOYS QOM-1033 American Civil War 4th Texas Regiment at Chickamauga (1863)

I forgot to mention that his rifle must be a captured one, as I just noticed the parts list say Springfield, rather than Enfield. :)

1/6 QORANGE QOTOYS QOM-1033 American Civil War 4th Texas Regiment at Chickamauga (1863)

Yes, I think the frock coat and kepi (or civilian hat)would work for an early war look. A "lone star" Texas buckle would probably be more appropriate than the CS one... I think Battlegear make one. (I would still ditch the cartridge box plate, though  ). I think the Texas Brigade would have...

1/6 QORANGE QOTOYS QOM-1033 American Civil War 4th Texas Regiment at Chickamauga (1863)

After doing more digging myself, I agree with you about the shell jacket looking like the Columbus Type I, apart from the pointed cuff facings. Maybe they based the design on a modern sutler's store replica? I have seen several picture of replica jackets that have the same collar, cuffs and...

Yes, it's easier to identify what it isn't, i.e. 4th Texas Regiment at Chickamagua. On the plus side, the uniform pieces and equipment look well made.

1/6 QORANGE QOTOYS QOM-1030 French Napoleonic Infantry Sapper of the Imperial Guard (1812)

I remember DID made a similar sapper figure, quite a few years ago. It was around the same time that Dragon produced a French Imperial Guard figure.

1/6 QORANGE QOTOYS QOM-1033 American Civil War 4th Texas Regiment at Chickamauga (1863)

From what I have found online, the South never made a CS box plate. There is only one known box plate pattern of general service, but it is a cast CSA plate. These are known to have been cast in North Carolina and are very early war. There was a rope border CS belt plate, but it was extremely...

1/6 QORANGE QOTOYS QOM-1033 American Civil War 4th Texas Regiment at Chickamauga (1863)

Hi Asta, I haven't found anything relating to the kepi badges yet. I have now found a reference to Longstreet's troops being entirely outfitted in jackets made from imported English Army Cloth and trousers from imported light blue cloth before leaving to reinforce Bragg... so the trouser colour...

1/6 QORANGE QOTOYS QOM-1033 American Civil War 4th Texas Regiment at Chickamauga (1863)

From doing a little research... The uniform is a mix of bits from different time periods in the Civil War, rather than representing a 4th Texan infantryman at Chickamagua. Company A of the 4th Texas infantry were the "Hardeman Rifles" raised in Gonzales/Goliad County. It's possible that they...
