i think the paint peeling or paint fading will eventually happen to all Thor figures because the armpit/chest area is hard plastic and the shoulder comes in contact with that hard edge when you move it, unless you do it very carefully or you dont pose/move the arms at all

in the defective arms is the paint peeling off from the entire arm or just the shoulder area?

Mine still looks fine after all the poses i put him for the pictures :yess: i hope it stays that way :pray:

mine was eight pounds too, and yes it is heavy and big

Quick update guys, I have been posing my Thor a lot, moved the arms in all possible ways carefully, and I have not issues with the arms so far :yess:
