I've had good luck using a Sharpie oil paint marker. Do the outline and use a toothpick (quickly) to drag the color from the edge toward the center. I used this technique recently on a Henry Rollins I did.

This will be my first-ever head sculpt, and I'm planning on doing Henry Rollins. I want to make the head completely out of Sculpey and stick it on a standard G.I. Joe body. I know this sounds generic, but I just want this to be a test if that makes sense. Is this possible, and if so, how do I...
