They said that it will be a timed preorder with a 1 week ordering window. I am curious based on the high price how many Battlecats Mondo is expecting to sell? If the price is a reflection of the cost to produce why did they not go the "crowd funding" route with a minimum number of orders...

Thanks Mike(y) I am still struggling on whether to get this. It looks great and price includes shipping I believe, but still. That being said this seems more like a deluxe version with the extra heads and the smaller cringer figure. I wonder if they could've offered a more barebones version at...

What is the non EX he-Man? Does the Battle Cat only work with a specific He-Man figure?

How does Mondo justify this price? Does it have to do with limited production runs (compared to hot toys, sideshow, etc.) and no parts reuse? Also not sure why they have been offering the recent MOTU figures as timed releases only.

Do you think that with the announcement at D23 of the Thunderbolts movie cast which includes U.S. Agent that Hot Toys will be making a U.S. Agent figure?

First time I have been viewing the sideshow SDCC con. It's incredible to see how these folks hawk their wares. They put QVC/Home Shopping to shame!:D

Regarding the sideshow waitlists, could someone clarify if reopening the waitlist means some folks canceled their orders or does it mean they are planning to add more stock?

Thanks all for your feedback. I am still on the fence since I am really only interested in the superman figure. Sideshow's only attractive to me because of the payment plan but cost is still an issue.

Are there any good deals available to purchase this set? I haven't been able to read the entire thread, I only read to the point Timewalker toys had a slightly lower price but they are currently in wait list mode.
