Hot Toys 1/4 Scale Iron Man Mark IV with Suit Up Gantry

Has anyone pre-ordered this guy from a European retailer? He was supposed to drop in August but as per usual that didn't happen. Anyone has any news?

1/4 Hot Toys - QS - Iron Man 2 - Iron Man Mark VI Collectible Figure

lol This shows Hot Toys didn't evolve one bit all these years in terms of battle damage. Conceptually, the battle damaged areas are almost exactly the same between these 2 figures.

1/4 Hot Toys - QS - Iron Man 2 - Iron Man Mark VI Collectible Figure

I like the 1/6 version of the headsculpt more. I also think they're still quite conservative in terms of battle damage to the rest of the body. It's just too clean. The abdomen seems exceptionally clean to me, even compared to the non-battle damaged MK4. I really like the base though, I wish MK4...

Hot Toys 1/4 Scale Iron Man Mark IV with Suit Up Gantry

Puffing out his belly as you describe it is the equivalent of him being completely straight, gaps and all. Your MK4 is in that position already but it has a more elegant design so there are no gaps. Anyway, to each their own.

Hot Toys 1/4 Scale Iron Man Mark IV with Suit Up Gantry

I know, it can be easy to miss but there is quite a bit of articulation in the torso. Take a look in the photos below, I've marked the "vents" in the torso with green. Notice when he's hunching the top ones are recessed in the chest, which is how you have set up yours.

To be fair, the MK3 is hunching while the MK4 is fully straight. I can tell because I own the MK3. Nevertheless, the MK4 looks fantastic.

Iron Man - 1/4th scale Iron Man Mark III (Golden Color Version) [Hot Toys Exclusive]

A bargain always sounds great, I would do the same. Unfortunately, the european market just doesn't function like that.

Iron Man - 1/4th scale Iron Man Mark III (Golden Color Version) [Hot Toys Exclusive]

You are still beating a dead horse, this is not an investment market. People buy cool stuff just because, there's no price justification. I voiced my opinion. You're also welcome to move on.

In all fairness, the investment value is not something everyone cares about. Let's stop beating a dead horse, shall we?

Wow, that looks amazing. If I didn't own the regular red one, I would definitely be all over this guy.

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS664-D48 - Iron Man - Iron Man Mark 3 (2.0 For Real This Time!)

People tend to be quite indecisive when it comes to what the MK3 should look like. There are people posting movie stills that are clearly color graded according to the scene, showing a very dark picture, thinking that's the definitive look of the suit. Then, there's the prop suit which is...

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS664-D48 - Iron Man - Iron Man Mark 3 (2.0 For Real This Time!)

Honestly, such an underwhelming release. The 1/4 is still on a completely different level.

Hot Toys 1/4 Scale Iron Man Mark IV with Suit Up Gantry

I was waiting for this release. The fact they're not offering a full Tony Stark head sculpt with this is criminal. It frustrates me that I HAVE to go aftermarket for such an iconic piece that's incomplete. What were they thinking?

Iron Man 3 - 1/6th scale Iron Man Mark XXI (Midas) Diecast Collectible Figure

The fact that Marvel failed to portray the flashiest suit on-screen, is a crime. The 2'' on IM3 don't count. The headsculpt and glasses are both aftermarket.

Action Figure Hot Toys 1/4 scale Iron Man Mark 3

Not necessarily. Mine looks exactly like that sometimes, depending on the lighting. Most of the times it?s a deep dark metallic red with a hint of burgundy. Amazing colour. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Action Figure Hot Toys 1/4 scale Iron Man Mark 3

On a second inspection, the only part that I could find was at the back of the figure under the neck connector. That part is actually soft plastic.

Action Figure Hot Toys 1/4 scale Iron Man Mark 3

No colour differences on mine and no soft plastics anywhere. One thing I?m not a huge fan of is the shoulder mechanism. It?s possible to hide the shoulder gap but it can be challenging depending on the pose you?re after. For me, that?s probably the worst aspect of the figure.

Action Figure Hot Toys 1/4 scale Iron Man Mark 3

It is inaccurate, there's no denying that. I own the figure and personally it doesn't bother me. The mk3 is an interesting design. As far as I know, the only piece that came to be the most movie accurate to date was Sideshow's half scale released years ago. Hot toy's 1/4 mk3 is the second most...

Action Figure Hot Toys 1/4 scale Iron Man Mark 3

After watching Justin's video I can confidently say this is an excellent piece. Its far superior to the 1/6 Mark 3 diecast and on par or better compared to the rest of Hot Toys' 1/4 Iron Man figures.

I see some people are still on the fence with this one. Maybe these will change your mind :monkey3
