This "small detail" annoys me the most in this figure. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of preordering it. I probably won't even open it, I'll put it up for sale in a while.

Looking at this "thing" from Mondo, I begin to appreciate more and more the NECA's MacReady. What a disappointment...

Considering that the version with the flamethrower is another 30-day exclusive (this time at Walmart), it is safe to assume that we will see this figure openly available only somewhere at the end of November...

I just saw some of their earlier 1/6 scale figures, and honestly they did not impress me. I have no idea what justify such prices (i.e. ~200 USD).

I will also get the new MacReady because I love the IP, but I do not think what the NECA is doing is ethical. All these accessories (flamethrower, petri dish) should be part of the first ultimate edition.

Did the Neca mention when the new MacReady comes out?

Well, it looks like they have improved Kurt Russell's likeness a lot...will definitely buy this one.

If only the face was a little bit less puffy :)

Picked up Ash today, very happy with the figure even though the likeness is not perfect.

Its sad to see how Ash's head sculpt ended up. I will buy this figurine anyway, but it would be nice if someone made an accurate custom head.
