The collectible figure is meticulously crafted with a head sculpt of the Luke Skywalker™ equipped with rolling eyeball function and intricate wool hair implantation adding depth and realism. A meticulously tailored armored suit, and LED light-up belt boxes to recreate his look inspired by the Dark Empire legend. Cool for anyone that’s a fan of the books. Even back then I had my own head canon and didn’t read this because I thought Palpatine returning and Luke turning to the dark side was ridiculous. No surprise I disliked “somehow Palpatine returned” and grumpy Luke that tried killing his nephew.

The artisan looks significantly worse

The figure isn't grabbing me.

I've never been a fan of the Dark Empire trilogy because the artwork was so bad.

The story formed part of the (even worse for other reasons) Sequel Trilogy, and since then this has been my 'Dark Empire' era Luke:

I'm also bald like my father before me, so I wear a wig...

I certainly want the Eu line to continue, as that's where a majority of my favorite stories are. I didn't care for Dark Empire when I read it, but I am still down for this.

So it really was just Anakin they decided to **** is on and not produce a sculpted version for.

Since most dislike the rooted hair version and this is a sorta niche release, getting the Artisan version should be easy right?

Wow. As someone who grew up with that book cover burned into their memory, this is a very interesting release.
