If all those are official images it’s striking how they visually sidelined Larson (I think that’s her name). Not that I don’t get why, we all do, just surprised they’ve already begun getting sole focus off of her.

Come on…you know why
Well, I mentioned in my original post I have my suspicions, it’s just unusual to see Marvel out and out sideline the “star” in her own sequel. Cavill nearly got the same treatment, although no official MOS sequel ever happened, but for vastly different reasons.

How can Carol Danvers possibly have her ears pierced? Her superhuman ears would instantly snap the tiny metal studs off the earrings and immediately heal. There's no way she would be able to maintain her piercings.

Lol good point :lol It does seem kinda weird she has piercings given her superhuman abilities, I think I’ll fansplain it as some sort of alien tech that allows for that :lol

In the short time that she was carrying the gauntlet in End Game she used the power of the stones to pierce her ears.

Unless she had pierced ears before that in which case I don't care lol

Pierced ears can ruin immersion in movies for me.

Like in "The Matrix" when they awaken Neo in the real world. You can clearly see either an actual earring hole or a scar from a long ago piercing. I remember being in the theater thinking...."hey...he's been in a pod of goo his entire life. When would he ever have gotten an earring?" My brain started pondering and it took me out of the movie for a few minutes.

I retconned it in my head by saying it was a probe/health scan the machines did occasionally and they do it with a tiny needle in the earlobe.

That justification allowed me to sleep that night.

I'm so sick in the head.

Okay ya’ll got me thinking about CapMarvel‘s pierced ear lobes :lol Hmm, maybe she had them pierced before she acquired her powers? Seems the most plausible lol

Sure, but I imagine when her powers manifested, it would heal anything wrong with her, like Wolverine's healing factor. She sure didn't get them AFTER she got powers. If she can survive a punch in the face from Thanos, no way a little needle is gonna be able to affect her.

Maybe we're just over-thinking it.

She got her earrings when she was a girl, like most girls do, and because it was a "pre-existing condition" they just stayed that way.

After all, she managed to get a haircut between movies. Does she have to go to the ridiculous lengths Superman does to cut his hair?

From reddit:

There have been suggestions in stories he cuts his hair using heat vision, or that he gets it done (by eg supergirl). There have also been suggestions that scissors can be made of kryptonite, and they'd be strong enough. And finally, that he might visit a world with a red sun and do it there.

Now come on. I know were all nerds obsessed with remarkably stupid minutia about these characters....but suggesting that Superman has to fly to another solar system just to get his HAIR CUT?

Isn’t this the same discussion for when Superman shaves or how does he do half the stuff he does with his strength. I think he said living in the world is like living with paper .
