Not bad if you're in the US, I just wouldn't buy anything from weta lol

I don’t get all the beating on Weta. I’ve been collecting their LOTR statues since the Sideshow/Weta days and they’ve always been quality products which are always even better in person.

Look at some of their most recent work and you’ll see why people are fed up. No doubt they’ve released some solid products but there’s no excuse for you to have to gamble on whether or not you’ll get a decently painted statue.

I don't think this one looks bad... I actually prefer it to the canceled one. However, they should've included swap out with a normal eyed portrait.

So would you recommend me to get this one? How is overall Weta quality in person? I don't own any Weta pieces. Their 1/6 Cavill Superman wasn't good,but I guess it's all about the sculptor/artist ( have latest 1/6 Snyder trinity on preorder which looks beautiful imo) As a huge Cavill and Geralt fan I don't want to regret later. I wish it came with normal eyed portrait but it is what it is, guess we won't get anything like this in future.

I don't think anyone can give assurances that it will turn out like the proto. You can take a risk and order, or take a risk and see if you can get one when it's released, if it turns out good

I just preordered from BBTS as I live overseas and using freight forwarder,basically ordering everything from them as they double box in a very hard cardboard boxes. Paid deposit and if statue ends up as a horrible piece I'll just cancel. Gonna lost deposit but I'm risky lol

I like it but that concept wouldn't be my first choice. I'd design it in a different way,but as there are no other alternatives and probably won't be, I can't miss this. At first proportions looked off on the photos, but after I saw the video seems proportions are fine.I just wish it came with an alternative yellow eyed head. That's my main complaint, idk why they made that lazy decision, as yellow eyes and white hair are main characteristics of his iconic appearance.

I actually think the eyes might be my favourite part of the statue since the only other offering which includes the Netflix mutant look is the overly tan (and potentially non-existent) Buzztoys fig. It’s really unique and I’m glad you’re getting it, Jorje!

I'm sure I'll love it whenever I see him in person! Yellow or black eyes, it's still my fav character and actor together! So that's a special piece for me! Thank you

Definitely looks great. And yeah it's when he fights the Ghouls at the end of S1 but could also be a similar scene in S3.

Yeah just a mistake on their part.

I think he looks great- a LOT better than the statute they cancelled. However, I don't have the space for something like this- and the black eyes/potion look sans armor, is maybe not my favorite look.
But he does look good. The other statue looked almost cartoonish, this one does not, in my own humble opinion.

He looks fine but surely this won't be the only statue from the series? I feel like this would be a great companion piece for a fully armored up look in the future

I have a same feel. If this sells well they'll probably make another one. As this one is based on the first season, I hope next one gonna wear season 2 armour, not a fan of season 3 rags.
But they advertise this statue as a "farewell piece" for Cavill, so let's see.

I didnt really like the piece at the beginning but looking at it here, It looks kinda cool actually.
