I would expect the TNG version of Data to include a Spot if it were to happen at all.
If only one Data comes with Spot, I agree it'll be TNG, and rightly so. I'm only stating it as a requirement for me to go in on a PIC version, since I have the FC Data already and wasn't planning to double-dip on him.

If theres going to be a Spot it makes much more sense for her to come with TNG Data seeming in Picard she was just a memory. After Picard himself Data is my number 1 priority from the TNG series proper.

As for the Seven discussion, I would prefer her to be wearing the regular uniform from the end of the show as she's a Captain and the gold comm badge would stand out from say a Shaw figure who I would also prefer in the regular uniform.

Thats in part because I love those new uniforms, they are just behind the First Contact and Wrath of Khan and just in front of the Voyager uniforms for me.

The other reason is if any of the Enterprise crew come in the leather jackets it will make them stand apart a little - not to mention that in honesty the concept of those jackets in 1:6 scares me and would we actually need beat up sculpts for both Seven and Shaw in those uniforms?

Also, bringing it back to Seven, lets say a new show goes into production and they decide not to tweak the uniform further - this will likely be after Nanjin's Five Year Mission is complete so there is no guarantees what Exo-6 will do at that point so it might be the only chance at getting Seven as a Captain!

Definitely would prefer Seven as Captain seeing as you could just display her with other Captain figures, if that is what you prefer. A Captain Janeway and Captain Seven displayed together would be cool.

I'm not convinced there will definitely be a new series. They may just do a mini series event or something. Seeing as the Section 31 series is now just going to be a one off film, I think we'll see more of those rather than series.

I'm sure it'll happen, as I really doubt Matalas would have spent all season pushing for it if it wasn't already being seriously considered. But I suspect it may be awhile, and probably won't entirely resemble what was set up in the finale.

I wondered how they might change the cast. So we already have Seven, Raffi, Jack, and Sidney. If they removed any of those 4, I think interest in the show would dip dramatically. So we keep them. But if we're looking at a cast of seven, like a usual Trek show, we'd still need a Doctor, Chief of Security, and Chief engineer. Kind of like how, on Strange New Worlds, they kept Pike, Una, and Spock but redid everyone else.

They also gave a makeover to the bridge and of course the show's tone was very different from what we saw on DSC. So I can see something similar happening here.
I actually legitimately hope the ship and bridge might see some changes before the potential Legacy.
Not that I have any specific complaints right now, I just think it would be nice to give everything an extra buff for its new role as an Enterprise in a new series.
I liked what they did with the SNW Enterprise, would be cool to see the Ent-G get something similar.

Just my own made up perspective, but I imagined Section 31 switched to a movie because Micheal Yeoh is even busier than she used to be now that she just won an Oscar.

Something may be done, but I don't know whether it will be another series format like Picard has been. If Paramount is restructuring a bit, they might change how they do things with their scripted series.

Picard has been tweaked from head to toe since the initial photos were taken and will be up for preorder within weeks.

He also mentioned that the jacket won't deteriorate. Hopefully that holds true. Still bummed that Finn's jacket peeled.

That’s good news - I wasn’t completely sold on Picard in the first set of pictures. Vadic is basically perfect so you could see a difference on sculpt strength between the two.

SixScale Mafia has Todd Stashwick on his live stream. He announced that Captain Shaw is getting a figure and showed the inital scuplting pics. Todd's reaction was totally worth watching. He's a collector so it was a HUGE thing for him.

I liked Shaw and would’ve preferred him leading a potential series over Seven. Stashwick seems down to earth, glad to see him getting some representation in the hobby.

And apparently he's going to come with both the standard uniform and away jacket? That would be amazing if so.

Damn it!! :pfft:

Wanted to stay away from this thread after seeing P3 and picking up on a few possible characters, but you guys have now brought me in to much
of my dismay.

Here's the interview folks
