I don't like any of them. I don't think the writing or acting is particularly better than any other drama. Culkin got to cry a lot on the last episode. Is that all it takes to win an emmy these days?

Shiv literally only had two expressions. She's like Zoolander. She has an angry scowl and then a wide eyed look of shock. If you took a drink every time she did those two "looks" you throw up and pass out by the 30 minute mark.

And they all drive me nuts by ending every sentence with a "yeah?" all the time. It's obnoxious, yeah? Yeah???

I feel like they've been setting Shiv up the entire run of the show to take the position. It's all "oh boo hoo, I'm a girl and daddy didn't love me" and all the usual grrrrl power BS that Hollywood loves so much.

It would be the obvious ending though. Are they really gonna go that obvious? I think they probably will.

I still hate Greg. Whatta doofus.

Matsson will pick Ken as the new CEO if Mencken doesn't nix the sale. Matsson does not like women, he will not choose Shiv.

So Kendall will complete his ascension to becoming his father, losing his whole family in the process.

Shiv will sell her shares in the company and start her own company (similar to Murdoch's daughter)

Roman will have some mental breakdown after being betrayed by his brother and being sacked from the company.

Tom will be forced to step down from ATN after the debacle of the election results.

Greg, ugh I hope he ends up fired too. God I can't stand him.

My impression of the acting is so very different to yours. The characters seem so real to me, like we are watching real people and not actors playing these people. Snook and McFadden are two of the best with such great control over their American accents.

I can see this.

Kendall is definitely "becoming his father".

Now THAT....is how you put on a masterclass for making a brilliant series finale.

Absolutely wonderful performances from everyone. The only problem with the Emmys is that there aren't enough to go around. Logan, Kendall, and Roman are all gonna be up for best actor. The actress that plays Shiv finally showed some incredible range. Even those dufuses Tom and Greg were amazing.

What an episode. What a roller coaster of emotions from the anger to sweet and loving in the middle, and then the end with all the bitterness and ugliness on full display.

I didn't always love the show. I thought it could be a slog at times. I thought it didn't deserve all that high praise. But this finale delivered. That was some of the finest 90 minutes I've seen on television in a long time.

Succession is gonna sweep the Emmys for sure.

Way back I said Roman was my favorite character. He still is. Culkin gave a powerhouse performance. Hell, they all did. I'm really impressed. This will go down as one of the best finales, directly opposite of Sorpanos, Lost, How I met Your Mother, Game of Thrones, etc.

What an emotional rollercoaster of a final season. While segments of some earlier seasons have been a little slower, I do think this show will go down as an all-timer now that it’s been wrapped up succinctly. Everything that came before felt like a natural progression to this, and I’m glad they didn’t drag it out any longer than they felt the story could sustain. At the very least, I think it gave us some of the best on-screen performances ever.

Succession and Barry (another all-timer, if you haven’t seen it) both ending the same night is tough.

I didn't like the Barry ending much. I think the seasons after the first started getting way too ridiculous.

I was onboard in season four until the time jump, when everything slowed to a crawl.

The ending, like all of season 4, felt too "try-hard" to me. I think Hader felt he had to top everything with some kind of grand artistic statement and it just didn't work for me.

Yeah, somehow satisfying and dissatisfying at the same time. I guess because they are all despicable characters that the bittersweet moments they do have just come across as mean, and everyone's ending is sad.

This, and for me, the "I don't give a **** about a bunch of obscenely wealthy ***** that don't have a right to whinge about anything." You can't run Dad's company? Boo Hoo. They walked away with billions... they're doing it so though, poor buggers.

I was hoping for something more...

Also, everyone knew Madson's India numbers were fake - how could the deal go forward when that was known? Bizarre.

Ken's damage control when Shiv and Roman brought up the fact he killed someone was incredible. The range of emotions Jeremy Strong went through in the space of 5 minutes was nuts.

I thought Ken's ultimate heel turn was mashing Roman's face into his shoulder to intentionally cause the bleeding to makre Roman looked unstable to everyone in the meeting. I am reading that scene correctly, right? That was not a moment of brotherly love....that was a demonstration of dominance. And when they got into a real physical fight minutes later, first thing he did was go right for that face again, with both hands. Dude is a psycho.

And let's not pretend Shiv backed out for any other reason than she was fuming with rage while seeing Ken put his feet up on their dad's desk. That was all it took. She could not stand to see that happen.

They really are that petty, despite having (their last?) night of actually connecting as siblings.

And no, I don't feel sorry for them. They're all rather awful people, and they all get to live their days in opulent comfort with all their billions of dollars of daddy's money.

Like I said earlier, I really REALLY liked the finale. I just didn't enjoy spending that much time with the family before that in order to appreciate that final payoff episode, but I suppose it was necessary.

One thing I will certainly never miss is the constant "yeah?" "Yeah?" "yeah?" that all the characters add to the end of every sentence. That's so jarring. Do people really talk like that?
