That smallest 3rd strap was hell to get thru! The scissors that you attach yourself keep falling out for me, so it's really hard to pose when they won't stay in.:gah:
Thanks for all the assembly tips from those who got it early, really helps to know the steps beforehand and to prepare for the battle.
My biggest grip is all the the stitching around the shoulders that makes it thicker around there and the way the collar needs a lot of futzing to fix the giraffe neck. I can't figure out how Art Figures cast the hair? Such a beautiful piece to add to the collection.

No idea, but I wouldn’t mind if they tackled more Johnny Depp characters.

I was looking at my Sweeney Todd, and while it’s still a pretty great package overall with the chair and what not, it starting to show its age. It really has those old baseball glove hands and there wasn’t really any need for a two piece head/neck. The gray jacket and shirt could also use today’s finer tailoring. And the hair sculpt would look great with the same attention that this Edward figure got

So I’ve had this guy sitting in the box for awhile because I knew assembly would be a pain, and I was correct.
Took me way too long to get those belts on, but the payoff is so beautiful. The attention to detail on this figure is incredible, very happy to have this in my collection

I received this figure again, so I'm pretty happy, but I already feel the pain with belt thing.

Mine's still sat in the box, waiting for the stars to align and put me in a zen-like state before attempting :lol

I might wait until the Present Toys one arrives and tackle both at the same time. What a glorious day that will be!

I finally got this guy out of the box- I think I was worried by all of the comments about how hard he was to assemble.

Indeed, two of the straps are a bit too wide for the buckles- but you can do it with twesors. I also trimmed one of the straps at the end somewhat.

Very impressed with his look and detailing- also the straps are impressively sturdy (I've had prior figures where the pleather straps are as thin as paper and just as durable). These you can really pull and they stay looking great.

The attachable fingers fall out annoyingly and pretty easily- but a small price to pay for the beautiful and realistic looking parts. Not like I'll be swinging him around much anyway.

Here he is with a dolly who reminds me a bit of "Kim Boggs"
