I won't. I'm so done with Star Wars.
I've got the OT, I've got Rogue One and season 1 of Andor. I've got a select list of good pre-PT early to mid 90's "Legends" stuff. I've got season 1 & 2 of Mandalorian.
I'm just so damn sick of the appalling rubbish they've churned out back to back.
It's a fair point. Burnout is real.

Well Disney ground me down with horrible release after horrible release. Every upcoming show or film they announce either sounds terrible or I just plain feel nothing about them at all. Mando season 3 was the coup de grace.
I've been a life long fan of Star Wars. ROTJ was the first movie I saw at the cinema. Now I don't care about Star Wars any more.
I'm in the process of selling off my Star Wars Hot Toys collection.
I've cancelled Disney+.
I'm done.

Wow. When the man says he's done, he's done.
The first three Star Wars can be considered Star Wars. In it's totality. You don't need the rest. That's how I look at it. Three good movies (that changed the entertainment world) is a good run. As it is with Indiana Jones, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, etc. Heck the MCU had a good run from Iron Man to Endgame. 🤙

That's my thought. I can watch any of the original three, even Jedi, at any time. I will still always love them. The Disney crap can go right to the garbage compactor.

The only piece I have from NuWars is a HT Mando. That will always remind me of the good times when SW felt fresh and new again just for a moment. And that first Luke reveal will always resonate for me.

I’m curious how that works. What if an actor goes off-script and ad libs a line? Can the director decide to keep it in the show or do they have reshoot and stick to the script? In that scenario technically no one rewrote anything.
I asked the same question but no one has given me a clear answer. Technically that's probably against the rules. Could it happen? I mean ... probably.

Sadly, everything you've said in the last two pages is me to a tee as well.

Can't even stand hearing the name anymore.

And same, selling off most of my collection.

BOBF was bad, and S3 Mando was trash, but the one that really killed me was Obi-Wan; that is the most cringe-inducing, embarrassing, blatantly ignorant, ridiculous, stupid POS ever do wear the SW brand. I'd watch a bloody Ewok movie or the holiday special 38,000 times before suffering through that disaster ever again.

I’m still getting caught up on Season 3, just got past “the Lizzo episode” - aside from this episode, the season so far hasn’t been as bad as I’ve heard. It has its moments, certainly falls short of Season 2 but I’m not minding it. Katee Sackhoff has been a good addition.

Well, then you're braver than me...
😁 I'll be lined up for S4 and whatever SW.

Paying more attention to SW came late for me, so I'm probably more tolerant about some things. Anyway Mando, Ahsoka etc. are all building to this big end battle thing. I had a lot of fun through S1, most of S2, some of S3. There was the Bad Batch and Ahsoka coming up - I like Rebels so there's stuff for me there. BOBF has its moments IMO.
:lsvader

Anyway Favreau said S4 was already in the works, and since he's a writer/director not sure how any strike affects him specifically, or Filoni.

Most of my collection is Disney era stuff. I'm going to sell all of it and use the money from that to track down OT figures on ebay and the like.
PO the odd OT figure that HT does. I doubt I'll have many HT figures on PO at all from now on.

For Mando season 4, what's the point?
Yet another season of Din Djarin fighting Imperials?
Or will it focus on Bo-Katan? But doing what exactly? Fighting off a new wave of Imperials sent to retake Mandalore?
A season about her riding the Mythosaur?

I could see them bringing Din Djarin back for guest appearances in other shows, when Ahsoka or whoever needs help with Thrawn or some Imperial base, but an entire season?

Din Djarin's story felt finished at the ended of season 3.

Despite Favreau saying season 4 is written, I wouldn't be surprised if they put out season 1 of Ahsoka, maybe a season 2, then rush right into that "tie up the Mandoverse" movie, slipping season 4 of Mando.
I suspect they (KK and co) will want this pesky Mando stuff out of the way so they can focus on stuff like the new Rey movie (hilarious. Still can't believe they're making that. Watch them crowbar in Grogu and a descendant of Djarin to try to get people to see it).

Star Wars isn't quite dead but you can see it from here.

I feel like Mando is done. I wish theyd ended it with season 2. They closed off the interesting storylines they could have went with - whats left to do?

Smart money says season 4 makes 3 look like King Lear.
