Yeah they ignored that and closed the ticket. I think I’ll move to Alter Ego. In this case the figure seems fine and no loose joints or anything but it was seriously kinda crappy how they treated the situation especially since I have ordered so many times from them and have 11 pre orders as well.

It’s a pain but give them a call, and add how you were fobbed off to the list of complaints.

Ask to escalate. Don’t let it stand.

Have you tried calling them? I would push for an exchange. I might be a little crazy but one of the reasons I buy from sideshow is for the shipper box.

You should switch to one of the US authorized retailers. Many of them double box as standard at no additional charge. Keeps your shipper clean and safe.

A lot of people here go through Alter Ego as BM mentioned. Timewalker is another; they ship orders over $350 for free. Underground is good too. There’s a lot of good retailers out there. Only caveat is that you have to preorder early.

Sideshow has become more of an option of last resort or out of necessity due to exclusives for many of us.

Who the hell tears the plastic wrap off HT stands like that?!
You can easily peel the plastic apart or even just slide it off.

As far as I’m concerned, that tear is the sign of an absolute psychopath and I wouldn’t accept anything handled by such an inelegant brute- especially if advertised as new.

I enjoy destroying thin clear plastic protective wrappings by tearing them...
I also pop the bubbles on bubble wrap.

I've finally got mine. I'm still trying to track down a suitable display case to build a large diorama in. I was thinking maybe using an aquarium or vivarium to turn into a Endor environment to display my scouts.
I'm selling off almost my whole collection, but this guy will be one of the few survivors.

Indeed. While neither is 100% accurate, I totally prefer the Hot Toys version, even if for its sturdiness compared to the more fragile SSC.
My biggest gripe on the Hot Toys is the Pac Man gap and black seat however no one gets that right.
