After watching the video I believe I'm sold on the deluxe, very well done.

One thing I noticed I don't believe has been talked about yet, it looks like they've ditched the magnets in the arms. I assume well still get them in the feet but the renders of the body showed normal pegs. I don't hate this change though tbh.

It does seem to be working on everyone. Though, most of you didn't need much of a push.
It wasn’t that I ever hated the deluxe but didn’t quite see the beauty and value of the diorama. Looks much better in the video although I would say the doorway is still too small. Really forced perspective there but minor. I’m just about the same age as Daniel Radcliffe so I literally grew up on the films and books along the way. I’m right in that nostalgia range for this.

Gah! This video is great marketing. I think it talked me into the deluxe offering.
Me too. It was a clever move. I’ve decided on the deluxe, but seeing what retailers do with the price before choosing which one. The problem with KGH is if paying a deposit, their delivery charge can a alter when it’s released. However, twice before they honoured the original shipping quote on previous figures I POed.

Ordered Deluxe with Kit. With StarAce Hermione, I think I'm set for Harry Potter.
Kinda glad I didn't get their Harry at the time.

HT has spoilt us ……. NOT

Looks amazing but I surprised myself by not being tempted by this.

Now if they did figures from a later film, like Azkaban, I really could be tempted.

For me it was downhill after the first one. It captured that innocent, magical feeling perfectly. I’m actually not the biggest fan of Azkaban because that’s when everything changed visually and I always found it jarring.

That diorama is a work of art in itself. The fact that it's resin/polystone and all the other mixed media materials they are using, it's like we are also get a Queen Studio statue along with a hyper detailed figure.

I'm the opposite, i think the first 2 movies are average really, though etnertaining enough. The franchise doesn't really get good until stakes go way up from movie 3 onwards.

I get what you mean. For me though, I just look at them being separate and very different films with their own merits. Even though Harris Dumbledore was a typical wizard, I always preferred Gambon’s quirky take. So, I’d love Inart to tackle both. I have the SA versions, but know these guys would knock them out of the park.

The video is great. What a piece of marketing to really sell people. I was teetering towards wanting the premium version and I think I was put over the edge.

Oh it’s Harris or nothing for me. Never liked Gambon’s portrayal. I do hope they make both so everyone’s tastes are met. Not a fan of Jude Law for that matter either. Would have loved to have seen Jarred Harris have a crack at the role his father had.

I wasn't gonna get a young Harry, but this figure is fantastic. I'm going to be getting the basic version though. I just don't care for the big base no matter how well designed it is. Especially because it doesn't look like there is a way to display him on the broom.

Azkaban is my favorite, it’s got an artistic style to it lacking in the others. I like how the series changed stylistically with the characters and their stories.

Agreed but that's what happens when you manage to get Alfonso Cuaron to direct your Harry Potter film.

They went downhill for me after 1-3. Especially later on when they for some reason continued to allow David Yates to direct the films for 5-7. Terrible choice keeping him around for that long and the changes he made.

How I feel as well. PoA was the peak of the franchise. And I still enjoy the first two films just because they let the material breathe and allows you to really feel like you’re in that world with the characters. I recommend watching Cosmonaut Variety hour rank the HP films, crazy in the latter movies how static/flat the cinematography got and how desaturated the colors became.
