Stallone line - First Blood Rambo released

I actually think the Cobra figure looks pretty awesome. If I was a fan I’d be tempted. Never seen the movie though and don’t want to watch it only to talk myself into buying the figure.

Sly store posted about a hour ago that Cobra was nearly sold out and now it is.

I wonder how many figures they make. Both figures have sold out now. I’ll probably pre-order Rocky soon.

Cobra looks pretty good, idk if it looks $300 good though.

Meanwhile, I’m over here still trying to decide if I want to pay up to have turtles with my Rocky figure.

Rambo did not.

I missed both. Not a huge fan of paying upfront on something that can take so long to come out. It's been hard to gauge when the best time to order. I guess when Justin or someone does an unboxing, then time is almost up.

Well that sucks. For a figure this price they should give people longer, or more options, like putting down a deposit. This thing is gonna go for crazy money on ebay, looks like I'm never getting a Cobra figure then

When was the Cobra figure put up for pre-order? It seems like it released relatively fast. Granted Sly Stallone Shop is only doing one figure at a time but it seems like they’ve been fairly timely so far.

It looks 100 times better with the glasses on. I held off pre-ordering, as i hoped they would tweak the eyes. The clothing and accessories all look good though.
I didn't think it would sell out so fast, but hopefully, we'll see a KO version at some point. "Snake man" or some such.

If more people are willing to give them money then they would be stupid not to release another batch. Cobra looks good but the seam line between the head and neck are awful. The boots look like garbage as well. I know I’m being nit picky but since these are a higher price point I feel like we have the right to be.

Someone on Instagram asked about an in-ring look for Rocky and the reply was that it’s about a year away and that it’ll be the Rocky IV version.

Interesting. I would have greatly preferred a Rocky 1 or 2 in-ring figure. I can totally understand Stallone wanting a figure of his Rocky IV likeness though, because he was ripped to shreds in that movie.

That’s my preference. Hopefully they do it Justice.

Rocky 4 makes sense. The USA trunks are iconic and just as synonymous with Rocky as they are with Apollo. He wore them in part 3 also. Even Creed Jr uses them. They're like a symbol of the franchise.

Seems like the Stallone Shop is producing different versions of Stallone figures as not to overlap with their licensed partners (i.e. ThreeZero, StarAce).

Although honestly, I wish they would revoke the license from StarAce - their Rocky 1 & 2 sculpts are horrendous.
