This figure is hugely elevated with a larger taller body. Here it is with the hot toys general zod body, longer legs and overal better proportions. I thickened the neck also.

Edit - Nvm, got the present toys and hot toys thread mixed up

My updated MMS 238 made with several different figure parts, let me know what you all think

Hard to judge, but in certain photos the legs look a little too long.
Agreed. I don't think long footpegs are necessary here. Matter of fact I think I switched out all my T-800s to short footpegs.

Certainly though the body-mass increase with that Zod body is an improvement. Incidentally I've seen Michael Shannon (Zod) in person - certainly tall but actually quite slim, scrawny even - his outfit must have added any mass he appeared to have in Man of Steel.

Thanks!

Hot toys general zod body
Hot toys Joe Colton pants
Present toys crazy warrior shirt
Hot toys tech noir boots
Everything else is hot toys mms238
I thickened the neck also
Did you stain the Colton pants? I thought those were black or green.

Honestly the proportions overall looked better before. The issue now is that the legs look way too long, which throw off everything else. Also the mms238 boots are much nicer and more accurate than the tech noir boots.

I completely disagree with the proportions being better before. The head looks gigantic on the stock body and body is undersized for 1984 Arnold. The body I’m using is larger, taller, and fits the clothes better. I really don’t see a problem with the leg length. And yeah tech noir boots is what I had available… sorry

Unfortunately you just traded one set of problems for some new ones. While I agree the head is definitely more in scale with the newer body, but everything else looks off now. If you like it though thats all that matters. I just can’t help but be nit-picky because I love the character and actor so to me that looks very obscure to say the least.

I think mine is a major upgrade to the stock figure but to each their own

To me it's just the legs, Arnie isn't particularly tall (taller than me but that's easy :lol ) and his legs aren't strikingly long.

And I actually also use the old MMS136 boots with this figure - by choice. Yes the 238s are a better sculpt but I find their small size looks weird when he's got this giant head up top, like they're out of scale with eachother.

I would say his legs could be described as long to be honest
