Exact same for me. And, already have my custom style helmet in the works to go with it. Hope price is reasonable given lack of accessories.

Great sculpt but much prefer the Vol 2 Deluxe overall so will stick with that.

Meh, very over designed.Still wish they did a figure of him from Thor.
That sculpt is PHENOMENAL. Just like that I’m in on the whole GOTG3 line. Yes I wish Rocket had a new sculpt, especially if the other characters use new ones it will seem like a glaring omission. But I’ll live with it. Also this feels a bit sparse with the accessories but not sure what else could have been added.

Yeah, I'm good with Versions 1 & 2. The sculpt on this is superb and I like the suit materials but IMO the lack of accessories really makes this release a step down from his previous versions. Not all on HT though as he really didn't have much in the way of gadgets in the movie.Almost no accessories at all. 2 guns, a Zune player and some hands. But because the sculpt has rolling eyes it will be like $285
Hopefully they'll give Nebula a swap-out arm or two, otherwise she'll be a pass as well. Drax may be the only figure I get wearing the new team suit. I do hope they make another Gamora, as this may be her best look yet.

Man, this figure does look great despite being so scant on accessories. Seems like maybe each Guardian should have come with a unique baby raccoon or something, because otherwise the movie didn't really give anyone a lot accessory type stuff to work with.

Knowing they'll never complete the whole group makes this a "blah" announcement...
Shame this one is so good and Rocket a lazy reuse sculpt. It’s all or nothing for me though. If HT doesn’t revise Rocket and put Drax, Mantis and Nebula up soon, I don’t plan on getting any of these. I’m sure I’m not alone and that’s probably two grand from lots of collectors that may or may not come in depending on how they proceed in the next little bit.

I mean they have put half the characters in this teaser image up for pre-order in less than three weeks, so they may actually complete this team. No one expected them to complete the Bad Batch given their track record with teams but they did.

Yeah, the fact that all Drax, Mantis and Nebula require is throwing the new suit on figures they've already made (or with Mantis are in the process of making) make their releases more likely. That said I'd love to see a battle damaged Nebula with her arm cannon upgrade. A Nebula Deluxe with swap out head sculpts, arms and costumes would be ideal but no way HT comes through with that lol.

Overly designed costumes make stunning figures
Yondu for example.It sucks he doesn't wear the helmet in this. Isn't there any concept art of him in the helmet somewhere? HT made that Mecha Black Panther monstrosity off a damn napkin doodle.
I must be the only one that is not impressed with this new sculpt. I think the eyes are way too squinty and the hair, while an incredible sculpt, may be adding to what is throwing the sculpt off for me.
Yeah, the hair bothers me too. It could be the camera angle but the way they did the part makes his head look elongated in a lot of those shots, as it appears to ramp up toward the back rather than hug what should be the natural contour of his skull.
