As a kid I loved Aliens the most. As an adult I prefer Alien. Heck, I actually much prefer Alien Isolation over Aliens, which is why I passed over a super cheap HT Power Loader a few years back. I still think the movie deserves all the praise, but I probably grew out of it.
Yeah honestly I think customizing the old HT figure would still be the best way to go. Unless Present Toys makes some major improvements to theirs.I prefer my custom i made a few years ago.
I rather they just re-cast the CM gear and armor and just sold it as a "Space Soldier". I would buy ten of them.
Same, looks really good in general and theres one shot where I can see SW - though the rest look like her stunt double. Which I’m also fine with.

Good points, that's why I never really bothered with 3rd party figures until recently. Sure, there have always been a few pretty good releases throughout the years, but it was a very low percentile. I still prefer licensed figures in general, and always will, but it doesn't hurt to get a 3rd party one here and there if they deliver high quality.
Exactly. Doesn't seem like there's a single thing on this figure that wouldn't need revising. Body proportions are just bizarre. Pants are all kinds of wrong. Not to mention the fabric on the shirt makes it look like a 1:12 softgoods figure. And Ripley pretty famously duct-taped the pulse rifle and flamethrower together for the finale.
