Cannot wait for these figures. Especially Keaton.

It’s absolutely not a critic but always surprised to see people asking figures from a movie nobody saw.
I mean you buy figures, memorabilia or stuff from a movie you liked and means something for you.
When I see on social medias people making collection from The Flash even if the movie isn’t on theaters, it bugs me…

Not sure why it bothers you about the criteria others use to build their collections.

But personally for me I have been wanting to have a version of Flash in my collection for a while now. I didn’t like the way his costume was designed for Justice League so I wasn’t willing to pay after market prices to have a Flash that I didn’t really care for the costume (when that figure was released I was only collecting Marvel figures at that time) so I waited.

Based on the trailers for this new movie, I can see what the costume looks like and I am confident that Hot Toys will be able to make at least a pretty good representation. So for me I don’t care if the movie sucks or is great, I like the Flash and don’t need to see the full movie to know that I want this figure.

Your comment seems to indicate that you think collectors should base their desire for collectibles of characters solely on movies, which IMO would be very limiting and silly. I think a lot of people begin to like certain characters independently from movies. I am a Marvel guy but Batman has been one of my favorite characters since I was a kid. The only Batman figure in my collection is the BvS Batman. I have seen the movie a couple of times and don’t care for it much at all, yet I have the figure because it looks great to me and I like Batman

I love Batman Keaton, don't need to like the movie, for me is enough a new suit.

The movie seems to have great buzz and early reviews. Hopefully that translates into box office and we get all the main characters, be that from Hot Toys, Inart or Mars Toys.

The only thing that might interest me is Kara. But the bad taste left in my mouth from WBD not allowing Zack to complete his saga as an elseworld project similar to Phillips' Joker and Reeves' Batman, probably would not allow me to enjoy the figure.

Is that new official news or just going by what they haven't said over the last months ?

Looking better in those pics. Basically Batman should never be seen in the day.

I do prefer the yellow belt but it's not big deal really.

The way I would put it is that it’s going by what Gunn has unequivocally stated regarding WBD’s plan for the DCU plan moving forward. He has said ‘here’s what we’re doing’ and Zack making JL 2 and 3 is nowhere to be seen. They are clearly taking a new direction.

But that being said, I do find it significant that Zack held the Full Circle event apparently in order to signal that he is in fact keenly interested in completing his saga! I mean, yes, it did push the donations by the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut/#RestoreTheSnyderVerse community to the $1M mark, which is very cool. But I think the main purpose it served was to correct any impression (as Gunn once suggested rather strongly, not for nothing) that he has moved on and has no interesting in finishing the tale.

While hoping for a HT Supergirl announcement, here are some pics for fun, including a confirmation that brand new Faora scenes were filmed :yess:
